Two years ago, Law Wyman went undercover for an FBI investigation that went sideways. It cost him both the love of his life and his sanity. The nightmare still haunts him, and so does some unfinished business...Ian Mayne, the son of the man who ruined his life.

Two years ago, Ian had to face the truth about how his father spent a lifetime torturing and trafficking LGBTQ teens. Ever since, Ian has done everything he can to make up for his dead father’s many sins through his law enforcement job. Too many paid in horrific, horrible ways at his father’s hands while Ian kept the truth about his own sexuality hidden.

Law is doing all he can to save Ian, but Ian doesn’t necessarily want to be saved.

Two men...both horrifically haunted by what happened. Is it possible they can find healing together? Only if they have the courage to face their demons and each other...

5 Stars

Please note, while each story contains a different couple there is an ongoing mystery in the background and you’ll be lost if you don’t read the previous books in the series first.

Wow!! Well, I have to say Ms. Snow made sure that Law and Ian’s story was an anxiety-ridden, nail-biting adventure filled with angst, mystery, action and romance. I sat on the edge of my seat, knee bouncing, waiting to see how it all would end. The story captured me from the beginning and kept me riveted to my iPad until the very end.

I loved both Law and Ian, even if they were pigheaded and didn’t listen to me when I screamed at them not to do something or not to split up, typical men, and while their relationship progressed kind of quickly, it seemed to be just the right speed for them. They were both likable characters and I think they fit so well together, because they have both been damaged in the past and they not only understood, but could also relate to one another. Their backstories are heartbreaking, as are most of the characters in this series, it seems no one from this town has gotten through life unscathed and I just want to give them all a big hug.

Law and Ian had great chemistry and there is no denying this author’s talent when it comes to writing a sex scene. They were plentiful and smoking hot!

This was a wonderfully written story and a great addition to the series. I loved not only getting to know Law and Ian better, but I adored catching up with the previous main characters, as well, and I’m looking forward to getting to know more of the residents of Snowcroft in the future! Very enjoyable and highly recommended!
