What a fabulous story! I hadn't read a book by Susan Mac Nicol before, but I plan to remedy that ASAP. I loved her writing, it was just about as captivating as Oliver and Leslie. Although I have to admit I have a soft spot for Oliver, despite wanting to slap some sense into him a couple (or more) times. *g*
Leslie was every bit the diva, but at the same time so down to earth, loving and sweet and so loyal to those he cared about. Oliver was the silent and not so strong, hiding so many insecurities left by his scars and his accident. I just wanted to cuddle him and tell him it would be alright.
I just adored the way Leslie and Oliver's relationship blossomed and with the incredible chemistry between them, how could it not? Although the path of true love is not without obstacles, it's more than worth the journey.
Definitely a story to be savored and cherished and be read again and again.
