Ryan Axston may have been my brother’s best friend, but he is so much more than that to me…
He was my first everything. Kiss. Sexual encounter. Love. Ax had my whole heart, but he had no freaking clue.

He always wanted to be a Marine. It was in his blood. The day his brother was shipped home in a body bag, Ax signed up and left town to do his duty to his country.

I forced myself to move on. I really thought he was gone forever.

When he showed back up wearing the Unacceptables’ skull and bones on his back ten years later, I thought I'd be able to fight all the old feelings I had for Ax. I was older, wiser, and unofficial godmother to my best friend's adorable little girl, Annie.

But all he had to do was crook his finger and it was as if I was 17 all over again. I wasn't willing to sit back and let him tear us apart again. This time I was going to fight for what I wanted. But not even my love could stop a bullet. One of us was going to have to make a life-altering choice. Would it be me, or him?

4 Stars!

I gotta say I loved the ending to this one. It’s different, which is always refreshing and it’s a HEA that fits perfectly with this particular couple. As with the previous Unacceptables book, Undeniable follows the men as they seek vengeance for the death of their beloved MC Brother Abel, the pseudo-patriarch of their family. This time it’s Ax’s story.

Ax aka Ryan Axston joined the Marines on the heels of his brother’s death. Determined not to allow his impending departure to cloud the last days he has with his best friend Nate and the girl he loves with his whole heart, Cassidy, he doesn’t tell them of his enlistment right away. When it’s time to leave he says goodbye and then never looks back leaving Nate pissed and Cass heartbroken.

Fast forward ten years and Ryan is back. He is also not the same young man he was when he left. He’s seen things that have changed him and he’s done things that have blackened his soul even more. But one thing is the same, Cassidy is the only woman he will ever truly love and he wants nothing more than to spend his life with her. First, he’ll have to get her back and then he will be forced to choose his life as an Unacceptable or as Ryan Axston.

Like all of these books, this is a fast-paced, action-packed and sexy sweet story. The writing is good and it flows quite smoothly blending well with the last book. I definitely recommend it, however, it needs to be read after reading the previous Unacceptables books.
