Graham has returned from the military missing part of his leg and is immediately thrown out of his mother’s home after he comes out. Luckily, his cousin Louis and his boyfriend David invite Graham to stay with them until he can get back on his feet. Graham is surprised when a trip to their church leads him to the magical voice of the beautiful Kamau. He and Kamau are instantly drawn to one another and as long as Kamau’s father doesn’t succeed in destroying their relationship the two men seemed destined to find happiness in each other’s arms.
Quite a unique Christmas story, of course, Deja Black is great with unique. There aren’t a lot of stories out there about Sirens, at least not that I have personally come across. I enjoyed the fact that it was different and I am a huge fan of Deja’s stories.
Quick, easy and sexy; I definitely recommend this book to those who enjoy paranormal Christmas novellas. Graham and Kamau are both likable characters and have great chemistry. While this is a bit of Insta love it definitely flows with the story and in the end, works well.
