What I Loved: I really loved the blurb and thought the idea of this story sounded super fun. I was excited to get the audiobook.
I loved the fact that the MC’s are from Michigan and that Jadon lives in my hometown. It always makes me happy to have a book take place in Michigan or involve characters from there.
What I Liked: Narrator Terrence Leonardo was pretty good and luckily, had a smooth voice that was easy to listen to.
What I Didn’t Like: I felt a little lost at the supposed chemistry between Jason and Blake. I just didn’t believe it or feel it, to be honest. Especially Blake’s attraction to Jason and the way he reacts to seeing him again after 7 years. It was way over the top and a little fake.
If I heard “Hashtag____!” one more time I was going to shatter my Kindle. Once or twice, in the beginning, was fine but after hearing it every few minutes I wanted to scream. It was annoying and overdone and I was cringing every time I heard it.
