4 Stars!

This was a different read for me. I haven't read any of the other books in the Caldwell Brothers series and so I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I started Use Me. I was very happy to find the story instantly engaging. I had loved the blurb so I couldn't wait to dive in and in the end I loved it.

Tatum has never liked fairy tales, why get lost in a fantasy when you can live a real life adventure? As an author, the last thing she ever wanted to do was to write romance. When her publisher and best friend push her to step out of her comfort zone and into a more lucrative area of writing Tatum is resistant. But learning that this is important for both of their careers gives her the push she needs to try to world of fiction.

Hoping to find a way to entice her muse to show itself, she is surprised when the perfect man literally ends up right in front of her. He's the perfect Muse. Tall, a body to die for painted in tattoos and the brooding dangerous vibe radiating from him, draw Tatum to him like a moth to a flame. However, this is one man who is not up for conversation let alone a quick roll in the sheets.

Kid might find Tatum attractive but he has no interest in interacting with her, the more she chases him the angrier he gets. When he finds her journal and reads the erotic scenes she's imagined, Kid is unable to stop thinking about experiencing those erotic fantasies with her. Agreeing to be her Muse may give them both something they need.

All I can say is "woah!" This one is steamy. I can't say I wasn't surprised by the amount of heat these two characters generated throughout this story. I'm not sure I was actually prepared for it. If you're looking for a hot erotic story this is perfect.

The writing was very well done and I had such a vivid picture in my head of these two and their chemistry. Growing up in Michigan and knowing Detroit, it was another way that I found myself connecting with the story and the characters.

While initially I was not a fan of Kid and truth be told I thought he was a jerk, as the story progressed and we got to know him better, I felt my feelings for him thawing some. He had this darkness about him that jumped off the page every time I read his POV. He was certainly not an easy character.

Overall, I'd recommend this book to the fans of MJ Fields and Chelsea Camaron as well as anyone looking for a sexy read with just the right amount of angst, drama and love.
