Title: Enterrador
Series: A Silent Sons MC Novella
Author: Ambere Sabo
Genre: MC Romance
To some, I'm the monster they tell their children to fear. A man capable of killing without remorse or regret. Preparing my victims for their graves as I go. To others, I'm their leader. Someone they would follow blindly to their deaths if asked. But to her, I was the one that held her heart. The one who would do anything just to see her smile.
She was my light in the darkness, and without her, I am lost. The night she took her last breath the man I was died right beside her. They turned me into the monster I am today, Enterrador, The Undertaker, whatever you choose to call me. I am the devil of their making, and this is how I was made.

Wow! So I am a huge fan of stories that feature the antihero. I’m not sure why I’m drawn to them, maybe it’s the departure from the monotony of the “same ole’” cookie cutter, stereotypical hero or heroine that I constantly find in too many of the stories I read. Who knows, maybe it’s that whole attraction to the bad boy theory we hear about time and time again. Whatever the case may be, I admit the antihero intrigues me.
The thing here, though, is different. Enterrador is not really what you’d call the antihero. No, he’s the villain, at least in regards to the Silent Sons. But in reading this story that’s not at all the case. We get to see how the monster was born and let me tell you, it’s worth the read. It’s difficult and it’s sad and it makes things so much clearer. It also makes you think hard about the fact that not all monsters and/or villains are born evil (the lovely debate of nature vs. nurture). Some are made, compounded by the myriad of traumatic events they experience in their lives.
Enterrador didn’t just come to be. He began as Adan, a young man whom due to no fault of his own learned that love, be it the love of a parent or family, love of a partner or soulmate or love of a child, could be ripped away and destroyed. With a father who disappears only to resurface shrouded in secrets and violence. A mother who made no secret of her resentment of you and what you remind her of. A sister you love with all your heart who is brutally murdered by men seeking to destroy your father and finally the woman who owns your heart and your child senselessly dying. All he was left with was despair, hatred and a need for vengeance. He had nothing good holding him up and that much darkness just consumed him. I felt so bad for him, I truly couldn’t help it.
I genuinely hope that things can somehow turn around for Adan. I want him to find happiness again. I want something light and good to come into his world before he can no longer be close to redeemable (he has a lot to atone for now).
Overall, I definitely recommend this novella. Whether you’ve read books 1 and 2 already or not, I think you’ll be able to enjoy this story. If you are a fan of the series though, this might give you a better look and insight to the man the Sons are dealing with.
