Blurb:

There’s a legend amongst members of the Wicked Throttle MC. Something that’s rooted deep into their DNA. The younger generation is starting to believe it when first the VP, and now the Prez, falls. Once a soul finds its other half, there is no going back. Only one option; Love and claim at first sight.

Maci has been keeping a family secret for years, protecting her brothers while carrying the weight of everything on her own. This weight is shifted when a biker doesn’t take no for an answer.

As the President of Wicked Throttle MC, Xerox has always stood up for what’s right. He’s a man that takes action, and that’s exactly what he did when he saw Maci, and her brothers, needed help. With his mind set to clear the town of a drug dealer, who’s after the woman he wants to claim as his own, he’s bound to face complications. Like all things in life; the collision will be harder when confrontation strikes. The question is…will it clear a path for a future, or will the future cease to exist?

4 Stars!

Xerox, President of Wicked Throttle MC, knew from the moment he met Maci, she was his. Legend says “A Wicked Throttle heart connects only once and beats solely for that woman.” He wasn’t sure he believed it until he felt the electricity that existed between him and Maci. Of course, while he knows without a doubt that she’d be a perfect ol’ lady, he fears what danger having her in his world might create.

Raising her 4 younger brothers, Maci finds trouble on her own in the form of Nero. Nero is not only determined to get his hands on Maci but also wants to bring her brothers into his lifestyle, running drugs and other gang-related business. Now Xerox is there, taking the four boys under his wing as best as he and the MC can, while making sure to keep Maci safe by his side.

I’m not going to deny it was a pleasant surprise to know right up front that Xerox was going to be devoted to Maci as his ol’ lady. I enjoyed the absence of all the over the top and unnecessary drama surrounding the relationship and the club girls. That’s such an overdone scenario in MC books and while it may be reflective of what the “culture” is, it doesn’t keep it from being annoying. So I give the author props for that.

I liked Xerox and found his loyalties to his club and devotion to Maci endearing. Maci was a good h for this story. She was tough and pretty self-reliant for the most part and I liked that. I also enjoyed how she was with Xerox at the beginning. She had me laughing out loud a few times. I think that’s what made their chemistry and connection so much more. They just fit.

Xerox was well-written and definitely a fun, easy read. I’d definitely recommend it and I’ll be looking forward to the next book in the series for sure.
