BLURB:

Doctor Gavin Addison’s marriage didn’t end on the friendliest of terms, and his estranged wife’s continual harassment has the local police visiting his home so often they’ve started calling him “the doc.” One of those cops, Officer Lex Turner, has a crush on the handsome doc, even though he knows there’s no chance the doc would ever consider dating a man.
A chance encounter on a crowded dance floor ends with both men in the same bed with the same woman—but with questionable results. When the doc wants to try that again, Lex becomes more involved than he’d dreamed possible as he helps his new friend navigate the kinkier side of sex. Knowing it’s just sex for Gavin, Lex finds it hard to keep his feelings hidden. But when Gavin finally figures out he has feelings for Lex that go beyond what a guy should feel for his buddy, will he let Lex convince him to take a chance with him—even if it turns both their lives upside down?

4 Stars!

Dr. Gavin Addison is going through a messy divorce and to make his life more difficult, his soon to be ex-wife has taken to harassing him in whatever ways she can. It seems the police have become quite familiar with his home since they are constantly there.

A night out with friends has Gavin deciding to approach the dating pool once more. Surprised when he meets an attractive women who's interested in him, he's shocked when it seems Lex, a police officer, would like to join them. Gavin has never done something so wild and he's not sure about a threesome. However, a little coaxing and a lot of curiosity lead to the world's most awkward ménage. Embarrassed over his inexperience, Gavin asks Lex for a do-over and Lex agrees. From there, the men develop a strong friendship but both are having to face the fact that it's more than just that.

Gavin has no clue what it all means, only that he's not yet ready to find out. Lex tries to be patient but when is enough, enough? And with his love life in complete chaos, Gavin still has to deal with his deranged ex wife who's becoming more and more dangerous.

Well, I'm happier with this book than I initially thought I'd be. I was a little concerned whether or not I'd be able to get into it since there was quite a bit of MFM in it. While I don't mind MF, I generally prefer if it's minimal if I'm reading a MM book. In this case, however, I found that it was important to the storyline and I was happy most took place off page.

I definitely have to say that while I enjoyed this story there were quite a few moments where I wanted to slap Gavin and/or Lex. They were great together for the most part but there were many, many moments that they pissed me off as well. I probably found myself loving Lex quite a bit more than Gavin, simply because I felt like he was all in much sooner than Gavin. Still Gavin grew on me. I got a bit annoyed, though, by his neediness and weakness. The man was a doctor but there were times I thought he could barely take care of himself.

Together the men had great chemistry and seemed to just click. It was obvious to most of the characters that the two were all about each other. Their friendship was much more than the typical friendship (obviously, because they like to do ménage), also though it's the fact that Lex seems to get Gavin and generally had patience for his more quirky qualities that may have driven others insane.

There is a good amount of humor in the story as well as a whole lot of angst. I found myself feeling a little sorry for Lex because I think he deserved better than what he got. Gavin was much too back and forth for me and left me feeling like he needed to just make up his mind or leave Lex alone.

Of course, in the end, it's all the way it's meant to be so we get a good HEA. Basically, this was an enjoyable, fun and sexy story with some angst and some drama. There is some MFM sex as well so be warned but it's also about friends and family and self-discovery. I'd recommend it.
