Is it possible to find the heart’s home twice in a lifetime?

Six years ago, Sawyer Burroughs’s life fell apart. His soul mate and husband of four years died of cancer, and he fell into depression… and a bottle. It’s taken six years, but he’s turned his life around and is ready to start again on the other side of the country.

In his new apartment, he’s welcomed by his young and carefree neighbor, Derek, from across the hall. Derek is eager to make Sawyer feel welcome and even offers him a place to stay when Sawyer arrives ahead of his furniture.

The upstairs neighbors are just as friendly, and soon Sawyer finds a place with the friends-with-benefits threesome. He’s not the shy, vanilla lover they think he is, though, and he’s hiding more than a pair of nipple rings. As it happens, the guys have kinky secrets of their own, but for four men to make a BDSM relationship last, they’ll have to figure some things out.

4 Stars!

Sawyer moves across the country to start his life anew. When he rents an apartment in a converted house, he finds more than he ever expected. Derek, who lives across the hall from him welcomes him to their building and lets Sawyer know that he's in a friends-with-benefits relationship with the other two neighbors in the house, Luke and Benny.

Like many books by this author, it is heavy on sex. Derek helps break the ice and gets Sawyer comfortable with him. Once he's more comfortable with Derek, he eases into getting to know Luke and Benny better as well. The dynamics of the relationships of Derek, Luke, and Benny are a little unclear at the beginning other than they have a friends-with-benefits arrangement. Once Luke recognizes that Sawyer is a sub, the dynamics change quite a bit and we get a better understanding of the relationships these men have with each other. Luke and Benny are a couple, as are Derek and Sawyer, but they all play together from time to time. It made for an interesting read with two couples who routinely play together.

I liked that Sawyer was forthcoming once someone asked about his past and wasn't afraid to tell Derek his wants and needs as their relationship progressed. I liked that they had an experienced Dom in Luke to help guide Derek when he needed it. I liked that Luke backed off and allowed Derek and Sawyer to sort out their own relationship and that he took measures to reassure Benny when he was feeling insecure. Derek and Sawyer's relationship progressed quickly, but then when you're spending that much time together, things can get intense.

If you're a fan of Sean Michael, you will most likely enjoy this story. It's an easy, hot read with no angst and I enjoyed it.

4 Stars

It’s been a while since I have read a book with so many hot sexy times in it, but wow this one took the cake!

Each of the four leads is different from the others and it made the dynamic so sweet and hot.

Sawyer is such a beautiful man who has lost so much and just wants to start anew and meeting Derek, Luke, and Benny helped him begin healing those losses.

Derek was so good for Sawyer, first with friendship and then much more!

Everything about this was wonderful and I can’t wait to see what else Sean has planned!
