Blurb

Falling for his brother's boyfriend broke his heart. Now he's back home and falls in love all over again.

One birthday kiss and Kieran realizes he is in danger of falling for his brother’s boyfriend, Jordan. Leaving for college, then moving to another country is the only way to ease the ache in his heart.

But, when his father becomes ill and his sister begs him to come home, Kieran returns for good. He finds the family business nearly bankrupt and Jordan, the man he ran from, beaten down by despair and guilt.

Friendship is what they promise each other as they work to repair the business, but it could never be enough for Kieran. When secrets spill, and there are vital decisions to be made, Kieran realizes two things; he’s back home, and he wants to stay with Jordan for good.

Now he just needs to convince Jordan.

4.5 Stars!!!

Kieran has been in love with Jordan since he was 16-years old. However, Jordan was his older brother's boyfriend and as such, off-limits. After a dare went wrong and Jordan kissed him, a heartbroken Kieran went away to study in London to avoid seeing him and his brother together and in love.

His father's illness and an on-site accident force Kieran to come back home and help his family and Jordan rebuild the family business. Only Jordan harbors a lot of resentment against Kieran and it will be Kieran's job to convince him that he's back for good and that he still loves Jordan and hopes for a future together.

My heart broke for Kieran so many times during the book. He had to go through so many things both in Vermont and in London, carry so much guilt and secrets that were tearing him away and do it almost on his own. He was resourceful and had a great inner strength, I just adored how much he wanted to make things right. I liked Jordan, even if sometimes his not-quite-tantrums were a bit too much. Yes, he wasn't aware of all that Kieran had suffered, but really, it wasn't like only Jordan had suffered Brad's death. Still, I loved the chemistry between Jordan and Kieran, they were sweet, passionate and hot together, much better suited than Jordan and Brad ever were.

I really liked the flashbacks so we were privy of everything that had happened in the past and how it affected the future. I also loved Kieran's family, especially his sister and his mom, who I was cheering so hard near the end. She was so awesome with the whole David deal! LOL

Overall, this was a fantastic book, very entertaining and while at first it was a bit confusing with all the backstory weaving with the present, it got much better as I read and I simply couldn't put it down until I finished. I was completely invested in the story and wanting to know how it would all unfold. Very recommendable!
