SYNOPSIS:

Deuce:
The first moment I stared into Ally’s tortured blue eyes, my subconscious knew I’d never escape her. She called to the darkest part of my soul and made it impossible to ignore the strange pull I felt towards her.
Some things are just meant to be.
As long as we were both breathing, my heart would do time with hers. Like the famous outlaw lovers, Bonnie and Clyde, Ally and I committed the perfect crime. I claimed her heart, and she stole mine.
I only meant to save her.
To heal her.
Now, my past threatens to ruin her.
Wanted dead or alive, I’ve got her by my side and together we’ll ride.

Ally:
I thought the world forgot me.
That I had died at fourteen.
But, I never knew life until I knew him.
Rescued and healed, I found love in the face of an outlaw.
Whether he fails or flies, I’ll ride until I die.
I’m his Bonnie and he’s my Clyde.
A love as strong as ours will never die.

4.5 Stars!

Deuce and Ally's story.

Alexandria Richardson once had an ideal life, a loving family, hopes and dreams. But all of that was shattered in one night. Abducted at 14, she's been used, abused and made into an addict. Living in a hell no one can imagine, she's lost all hope that she'll ever see that life she tries hard to bury and forget. Death never comes, even when she begs for it and her captor is the only person who gives her what she needs.

Deuce was born with MC blood in his veins. The son of a Club President, he was raised to believe the Club is the only thing that truly matters, that his brothers are his family. When his father dies, his Club is all he has, but the blinders come off and he realizes that no one he calls "brother" gives a damn about him or the Club his father created. They had their own plans and it became obvious that there was more to his father's death than he'd originally thought.

With revenge leading his actions, he betrays the new club Pres. by taking his old lady. He then betrays the Club when he murders the Pres. Now on the run, knowing his time is limited he dons a new patch and finally learns what it means to be part of a real MC and to have a real family who'll have your back no matter what.

Deuce and Ally are both broken, both scarred and neither has hope for a bright or lengthy future. But it's these two broken people who discover their lives aren't carved in stone. It's not easy, it's downright sad but slowly they begin to move forward. They begin to heal. This is a story about rebuilding and starting over, healing and taking control. These two are perfect for one another and the more they try to push each other away the more I craved for them to just give into it.

Deuce and Ally made my heart hurt many times as I read their story. Once again this author has created a beautifully emotional read, with characters whom give me "major feels" and enough action to satisfy my need for Alpha heroes and a strong and resilient woman. This isn't sunshine and rainbows, it's full of darkness and pain but with layers of laughter and joy. There are sexy moments and sweet moments. There are scary moments and then there are moments that will melt your heart.

While technically this book could be read as a standalone, I definitely wouldn't recommend it. There is so much to this Club of misfits, all their stories tied together in a way that steadily unfolds from one book to another. Ally makes a brief appearance in the beginning of book 1 and it's nearly impossible to know how important her character will be in the long run. In book two, we are not sure if she is at all likable or redeemable until we find out who she truly is. Now we get to see her, we are witnesses to her struggles to piece a life back together now that she's free. We find out what she feels and how she claws her way out of the depths of hell her life had been since the age of 14. All of it has a deep and lasting impact while following this series and the characters from beginning to end.
