Title: Borrowed Heart
Author: Andrew Grey
Release Date: March 12, 2019
Category: Contemporary
Pages: 194

Robin, the recipient of a brand-new heart, knows he can’t give it to just anyone….

Robin’s been through his share of upsets recently, from heart transplant surgery to a brutal breakup. But his experiences have taught him life is short, and he’s ready to seize the day and start anew. A job at Euro Pride Tours is just the kind of adventure he’s looking for. He gets to see the world and live a little, but love isn’t on his radar screen. He isn’t sure his heart can endure that again.

Johan might’ve disappointed his family by striking out on his own, but when he meets Robin, he has no intention of letting him down. Each man is just what the other needs to feel whole again, and while Johan might not be the man Robin originally thought he was, he’s exactly what the doctor ordered to make Robin’s borrowed heart beat faster. As the tour through Germany progresses, they grow closer, but when Robin’s ex joins the tour, he could bring their blossoming love to a dramatic halt.

4 Stars

I’ve read a few of Andrew Grey’s books in the last few years and with each one I’ve grown to adore his writing and the characters that he creates. They are real and make me happy.

Robin was so sweet and sad that I wanted to cheer him up so bad! He has been through so much in his life that I’m in awe of people like him who have the same problems and more, and yet survive and come out better on the other side. I loved that even when he wasn’t the least bit happy he helped everyone around to be happy.

Johan made me smile, the way he talked to Robin and helped him believe that having survived his past has made him stronger then he realized. Johan had this happiness and confidence to him that slowly rubbed off onto Robin.

I’ve never really wanted to travel to the places that they went to in the story but ‘seeing’ it from Robin’s eyes, I could picture going to each place and just exploring each ruin and castle and the shops and churches.

I am eagerly awaiting Andrew’s next book! I know it will be just as sweet and great as always.

  1. That's a seriously loaded question. Okay some of my musts are Japan and Barcelona and go to a freaking GRL! After that I want to see all those great hiking places you see in travel guides.
