Blurb
One look at Adam and Luke wanted him. Sensual, gorgeous, kind, with a strength that Luke was drawn to, Adam was everything Luke desired. Being in Adam’s arms, showing him the pleasure of a man’s body, being touched, held, and desired in return, had Luke wanting more, had him wanting what he knew he couldn’t have.
It didn’t matter to him that Adam was blind, but Adam deserved more than someone like him. Luke was a man with a broken past and falling in love with Adam was a foolish thing to do, especially because Adam would never love him back if he found out what Luke was hiding.
4.5 Stars!
Luke is assigned to help Adam, who was born blind, as his community service. What he never expected was to be so attracted to Adam or that Adam would reciprocate his attraction or that it would grow into more. However, Luke is afraid Adam's feelings will change when he finds out about his past.
Blind Passion is a bit of a different kind of contemporary romance, as it also has a paranormal twist to it. Adam is blind, but he has a bit of ESP, which had manifested before when he was a young child until he hit puberty. The last thing he expected was to find it again with Luke, but he isn't about to complain, especially since his connection with Luke seems to run a whole lot deeper than the one he shared with his brother. It really is an interesting concept and I was both intrigued and fascinated by the idea that Luke could transmit images to Adam like this.
I really liked Luke and my heart broke for all the guilt he'd been carrying, especially since what happened to make him end up in community service wasn't really his fault. I was very happy he found Adam, who was kind and supporting, and with whom he shared such a special bond. They had a combustible chemistry and the sex scenes were intense and passionate, but above all, mostly an extension of their connection in everything else.
All in all, definitely a must-read! Engaging, hot, sweet and intriguing, it kept me interested and wondering until the very last page.
