Blurb:

When it comes to relationships, college roommates Greg and Keith are polar opposites. A recovering addict, Greg avoids sex because it’s too closely tied in his mind with the alcohol and drugs he gave up. In contrast, Keith protects his heart by limiting sex to one-night stands and weekend flings.

As the two get to know each other better, they feel drawn together, and slowly they take tentative steps toward something real. Their attraction soon flares hot, but Greg’s fears overwhelm him, sending him running. It’s up to Keith to help Greg learn to trust in himself—and in the way they feel about each other.

After going off the rails his freshman year of college, Greg transfers to a new school in a new state. He cleans up his act, no more drinking or drugs and if he is going to have sex it's going to have to be meaningful, no more casual hook-ups. Greg's roommate, Keith, is everything Greg used to be. He spends his weekends out clubbing and picking up random guys to sleep with. When Keith discovers Greg is also gay, he sets his sights on him as his next conquest.

I absolutely loved Greg, but Keith, well, I wanted to punch him in the face throughout most of the story. He knows Greg's background, yet he continues to try to lure him into bed. He was kind of a twat, but by the end of the story, he had me swooning, too!!

This was a very enjoyable read. It was a short, one-sitting read, that was well-written and well-paced. For such a short story, I thought the characters were pretty well developed. They had a great chemistry and they made me want to root for love! I wish we had gotten a bit of a more solid ending. Anyone that's ever read my reviews knows I like my HEA, wrapped in a bow and double knotted, so it won't come apart, but I was still left feeling the warm and fuzzies when I closed this book. Very recommendable!!

College roommates Greg and Keith appear to be complete opposites.  Greg is a reformed partier and Keith spends his weekends partying.  Greg gave up drugs, alcohol and sex and decides he needs to try to get to know his roommate and offer him some support to stop him from taking the path Greg took.  Keith didn't really notice his roommate, he was too busy with school and sex on the weekends.  When Greg decides to friend Keith, Keith notices how good looking he is and soon begins to question if maybe he should give up his ways and instead focus on one person.

This is a short story set in the life of two college boys.  Though there are some differences among the two boys, they seem to have a lot in common.  They both work to become friends and Keith sets out to court Greg.  Though Greg is reticent about sex, Keith convinces him that he's interested in more than a one night stand and both boys quickly accept that they may have found more than expected.

I think short stories can be harder for readers to connect with the characters.  There is only so much time to introduce characters, issues, and love story before it's ending.  I don't think this is a whole love story wrapped up in the pages but seems to be a short span of time of these two boys' life.  Really, unless another book comes out making this a series, the reader has the option of deciding if this is the HEA for these two or it's just a short hook-up among college boys.
