"Romantic and hilarious, Rookie Move will hook you from page one. Nobody does hockey like Sarina Bowen." --Elle Kennedy, New York Times bestselling author of the Off Campus series.

The last thing Georgia Worthington expected was for her ex-boyfriend Leo Trevi to be the new rookie in the team where she's working as a publicist or that it'd be so hard to fight her feelings, even six years after breaking things off with him and while she's determined to keep things professional between them, Leo might have other ideas.
Leo is happy for the chance to prove himself when recruited for his first NHL team, the Brooklyn Bruisers. His happiness dims a little when faced with his new coach, his ex-girlfriend's dad, who holds some kind of grudge against him, and with Georgia, the girl that got away and broke his heart. He still loves her, though, and is intent on winning her back no matter what.
I loved Leo! He was such a fascinating, strong, patient, handsome, sexy, determined (I'm running out of adjectives here, but you get the idea, I hope *winks*) character. He wasn't perfect, but really, as men go, he was amazing. It took me a bit longer to warm up to Georgia, even after learning her reasons to break things off with Leo back when they were in high school, but by 50% she'd won me over. I was very happy when she finally realized that what had happened to her in high school didn't only affect her, but Leo as well. *cuddles Leo* The chemistry between them was undeniable and I adored the glimpses into their teenage years and seeing how they fell in love the first time around.
I loved Becca, Nate, Silas and the rest of the guys! I have to admit that while I didn't exactly like Georgia's dad, I'm happy Sarina Bowen managed to redeem him and clear the air for all of them to be able to move forward.
This was a great start of the series and I'm already looking forward to Patrick and Ari's book! As always, the book was well-written and engaging, it deals with mentions of rape and its aftermath, so if that's a trigger for you, just know it's just mentioned, not really described. Very recommendable!
