Kazier is now head of the Smirnov Family and has obligations to his family line that he needs to fulfill by getting married to a young woman that has been selected for him. However, for the past two years he has been sleeping with Elina, a mysterious woman he's become more than a little obsessed with. 

Kazier needs to figure Elina out, she is there one moment and gone the next. They're incredible together but it never lasts longer than their brief liaison. What is her story? Her secret?  Can they ever have more than they do?

I honestly had no idea what to expect from this story, only that the vague blurb intrigued me. I have a love for Mafia and crime family books, so I couldn't pass this one up. It definitely helped that I saw such great reviews of this author's books.  

It's hard to really talk about this story and not ruin it. This is a ride you have to take yourself, giving too much away would invariably spoil the work T.L. Smith put into creating such a dark, twisted, erotic read.  I will say however that this is an entertaining book. It's not your traditional love story, it's not sweet and full of sunshine and roses.  Definitely not for the faint of heart.  But if you like true Bad Boys, the antihero, give it a try.
