4.5 Stars!
My Regelence Rake is book 3 in the Sci-Regency series by J.L. Langley and it can be read as a standalone, but I'm definitely going back and reading the first 2 because I absolutely loved this 'verse and I suspect reading them in order might make the experience even better.
I loved Colton. He might have been a prince but he was hardworking and determined. He was also very much in love with Sebastian, who barely acknowledged him until Colton started ignoring him. I liked Sebastian, even if there were moments in which I wanted to wring his neck. He was protective and treated Colton right for the most part. I loved him and Colton together, they had amazing chemistry and were hot and sweet together.
Colton's fathers and brothers were awesome, especially King Steven who was a hoot and an evil mastermind, I loved how he pushed Colton and Sebastian together, LOL.
I love historical books and I love Sci-Fi, My Regelence Rake is a combination of both, which made is even better. Plus, it has a fun, fast-paced, intriguing plot and captivating characters, I simply couldn't put it down until I was done with it. Definitely a must-read!

ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for my boys. My oldest (11) will be 4 years cancer free at the end of the year. Four years ago put a lot into perspective for us, especially when the kids make me so frustrated I want to pull out my hair. Now I am just thankful that they are there to upset me!
