Blurb

His world was water and rhythm.  Hard work and drive kept Royal O'Connell one step ahead of his competition. His spot on the swim team, keeping his scholarship, was the only plan that mattered.

His world was ebony and ivory. Natural talent and ambition set Camden Morgan apart from the other music majors. His dedication scoring him a full ride.

Normally, their paths would have never crossed….

But when Royal meets his best friend's new roommate, his big plan and Camden’s controlled environment faces a variable that could destroy it all.

Attraction.

The world they live in had no room for error. That undeniable pull between them was dangerous and neither one of them could've prepared for the choice they'd have to make.

Love isn't always an easy road and, when everything they've worked for is on the line, they'll have to decide if being together is worth the risk.

*This is not a traditional duet*
 *Not A Cliff Hanger*

5 Stars

Tracy: I absolutely loved this story. Camden and Royal were both such lovely young men, that you couldn’t help but root for them to find their way to one another and get their HEA.

This storyline was interesting and the author’s writing beautiful and almost poetic at times. I was captivated from the first sentence and couldn’t put the book down. The story is well-written, easy to read and it flowed well.

Mari: I have to agree with you. I was blown away with A.M. Johnson's elegant prose. She has such a lovely way with words and I was drawn into the story from the moment I started reading.

Tracy: Not only did I love Camden and Royal, but I also adored Royal’s family, who were such a great support system for both Royal and Camden, especially Royal’s twin sister, Indie. I also loved Kai, Royal’s best friend and Camden’s roommate. He was amazing and although it’ll be MF, something I rarely read, I’m really looking forward to getting a much deeper look at Kai and Indie in their upcoming story. I have a feeling that one is going be heart-wrenching to read, so I’m preparing myself with plenty of tissues, and of course, I’m looking forward to getting plenty of glimpses of Royal and Camden, and catching up with how they are faring in the next book.

Mari: I loved Camden and Royal, too, and I was completely enthralled with their story. And like Tracy, I'm eagerly anticipating Kai and Indie's book, especially since I know it's going to be an angsty ride.

Tracy: This was such an enjoyable story. Camden and Royal were perfect for one another and the love they shared was beautiful and pure. The chemistry between them electric and the sex was intense, passionate and reading the scenes was like reading poetry.

Mari: From the moment they met, it was obvious theirs was going to be a romance for the ages. It doesn't matter that they were so young, sometimes the characters have this bond, true and unbreakable and you know that they can withstand anything life throws at them, that's what I felt with Camden and Royal.

Tracy: This was a lovely story, filled with fear and heartbreak, but mostly, love, friendship, family and acceptance. Definitely a must read!
