Series Tour Day 8 ~ Originals Ride by Chelsea Camaron ~ (Review + Teasers)
Day Eight: Originals Ride
Series: The Hellions Ride
Author: Chelsea Camaron
Genre: MC Romance
Cover Designer: Cover Me Darling

Four men, four families, four originals, one club.
Go back to where it all began so long ago for Roundman, Danza, Frisco, and the late Rocky Fowler. A life choice, a road less traveled, all coming together in the name of brotherhood.  Some found love, some faced loss, and others learned real loyalty. This is the story before the chaos. This is how the originals ride.
*This is a full length novel. Each book in the Hellions Ride series can be read as a stand-alone story with NO cliffhanger endings. Contains adult language, situations, and violence not recommended for readers under the age of 18. This is not an exact depiction of life in a motorcycle club but rather a work of fiction meant to entertain.

This is by far my favorite book in this series. It's an amazing look at how it all began and grew throughout the decades. And when all is said and done it has been a fantastic ride. In Originals Ride we are told the story of how Blaine "Roundman" Reklinger, Rhett aka Danza, Richard "California Kid" Billings aka Frisco and Tommy aka Rocky formed the Hellions MC. A family by choice and not by blood, their brotherhood founded the club from the necessity to keep those they loved and cared about safe. It was great to actually read a book about how and why a club was created, to see what kind of men find themselves thriving on the life of a biker and the women that stand by their sides. The fact that most of these characters were important figures in the lives of the members we've been reading about throughout the series, yet we really weren't privy to who they were leaves a few unanswered questions. Now, however, we know what makes them tick and it opens my eyes to why they may have behaved the way they had in past books. More than anyone I wanted to know about Roundman and I enjoyed his story. He's a smart, strong and loyal man and you really see it in this story. His love for his friends and his club, but mainly for his wife and daughter, make it obvious that he's the kind of man you want at your back in life. He and Claudia had a great love that ended way too soon and it broke my heart because he never gets over it. But it makes me respect his character a lot more than I did before. Rocky isn't a character we got to see in the previous books and in all honesty, I can't remember if he was ever mentioned but he was definitely important to this story and to Roundman, Danza and Frisco. I loved Rocky, he was the heart of this group and he and Roundman were a great team. I would have loved to have seen a lot more of him. Danza, well, we knew Danza would have his moments of assholish behavior and while it's touched upon in the book, we don't really see it, which honestly was great. He's a good man, a loyal friend and he tries his best for his family, unfortunately, he lost his way a bit but he gets it back, which we learned in Tank and Sass's book. Finally we have Frisco and I won't go too much into his character because his book is the next and final book in the series. Let's just say I'm anxious to read his story and I hope he gets his HEA. I have a feeling it will be a bumpy ride for him but I'm still excited. I definitely want to thank Chelsea Camaron for this one because its unique storyline was a refreshing change in normal MC Romance. Originals Ride is just that, original. We get action and drama, romance and suspense all wrapped tightly together in a fun and engaging read. Best of the series! 5 Stars!
