Talk about going out with a bang! Dirty Sexy Sinner is the fourth (surprise!) installment in the Dirty Sexy series by Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde, and while it technically can be read as a standalone, why would you do something like that when you have three amazing books that you'll be missing out on if you do so? Trust me, you won't regret picking up this series, the Kincaid men are yummylicious and their female counterparts were awesome!
Jackson Stone never felt like he belonged to his family and now he finally knows why. Learning the truth of his birth drives the 32-year-old driven and successful architect to contact the Kincaid brothers to let them in on a not so little secret, Jackson is their brother and Clay's twin. The news isn't quite what any of the brothers expected and it isn't until Tara, Clay's bar manager, intervenes that they decide to give Jackson a chance.
Tara has had a hard life, rising from addiction and the death of her boyfriend after they both OD'd, to get her business degree. She still carries the guilt over that death on her shoulders. Jackson and Tara hit it off, even if she feels as if she'll never fit into Jackson's world.
I wasn't too sure at first over this surprising turn of events at having a fourth Kincaid brother appear like this. However, Jackson won me over before the first chapter ended and it was just amazing to see how well Tara fit him. Both of them had hard pasts and perhaps that made them bond so quickly, but it never felt forced, it was just like it was meant to be. Their chemistry was unbelievable and the sex scenes (and OMG, the dirty talk and texts!) were scorching hot. To be perfectly honest, I didn't think there was going to be a couple I loved as much as Mason and Katrina, but Tara and Jackson are tied up with them now in first place.
It was amazing catching up with Clay and Samantha, Levi and Sarah and Mason and Katrina, even if I did want to slap Mason more than a couple of times. Hahahaha. Oooh, and for fans of the fantastic Temptation Series by Ella Frank, you're in for a treat! (That's all I'm saying. *zips mouth and winks*)
All in all, this was a fantastic addition to the series! Enthralling, sexy as all hell, emotional, fun and with some angst to balance it all out. Definitely a must-read!
