Well, I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this book but I was definitely pleasantly surprised. This is my first Bink Cummings book although it won't be my last. I am so looking forward to what comes next for Kat and Ryker, Kade, Ghost and Bear. This is definitely a great start to a fun and sexy series and if I'm being honest, I very much hope we get to see a lot more of Bear and Ghost.

Kat is feisty, strong and funny. While on a mission for answers about her father's death, Kat ends up at the Sacred Sinners MC. Shocked by what she learns about her past, Kat has to find a way to move forward for the sake of her daughters and herself. Let's just say I loved Kat. I really don't want to say too much because this is one of those stories that enjoyment depends on the way the truth of everything unfolds. I don't want to ruin all the surprises. However, I will say that there are a lot of great characters we get to meet. Kade, who honestly made me smile. Bear who is a dichotomy of biker and father and friend. Ghost who is still a bit of a mystery and definitely needs his own book. And Ryker who I hated and loved at the same time. I definitely recommend Hopelessly Shattered. It's funny and bittersweet and such a great read. 4.5 Stars!
