First off let me just say I am not really familiar with this series or author. I am however a huge fan of MC books. The blurb for Tyler really sucked me in and I had to read it. Let's face it, if it contains a hot biker it's pretty much a forgone conclusion that I'll read it at some point. So what did I think of Tyler? It was...okay. I didn't love it and I didn't completely hate it, but truth be told it just wasn't my cup of tea.
The storyline itself was, again, okay but it didn't really grip me. Tyler was, in my opinion, a bit cheesy. As weird as that might sound it's pretty much the only way I can think to describe it. Some of his dialogue was so bad I had to question whether or not I was reading it correctly. The dirty talk actually made me cringe. And I have to ask, what badass biker calls breasts boobies? Boobies! What was probably supposed to be sexy and arousing I found to be a turnoff. I found it really hard to believe Ridley would find his sex talk hot.

It really wasn't just the sex talk either. I just never felt the grit that I have come to expect in MC romances. The conflicts seemed a tad contrived. We get to see the typical biker groupie:

But we don't get the typical animosity between her and Ridley (which was actually a refreshing change).
We get the typical caveman antics from the guys with their women but it wasn't that Super Alpha gonna protect his woman attitude that is generally part of these stories.

I definitely think the story had potential. If it weren't for some of the dialogue and Ridley's propensity for walking away every time she got pissed off at Tyler not to mention the overabundant use of the word "Ho" I probably would have enjoyed it a whole lot better.
