Diplomatic Relations is the 4th book in the sci-regency series by J.L. Langley. It’s about a Special Forces soldier, Dalton, and a soon to be politician, Blaise. They are the complete opposite in personality but they quickly come to like one another.
I liked Dalton. His rebelliousness really evens out how stuffy Blaise can be. Most characters were likable, and I was hoping we would see more orphanage interactions because Dalton was amazing with the kids.
With a seven-year gap between books, it was a little difficult getting back into the world and trying to remember characters, because they are all mingled. Without a reread it was tough, so I’d suggest you go back and recap, but it was a good book.
