“A Sweet and Angsty m/m romance novella”
That part of the book title sure does sum this book up pretty well. Short and sweet with an angsty kick to it. This book was by a new-to-me author so I was happy with how this book turned out. It was well thought out and had a decent pace from start to finish. But there was a lot packed into this book and I really would have been happier with a longer and more detailed backstory and character dialogue.
Liam and Pete met and had what started out as a one night stand, which turned into a pretty instant connection. It’s incredible how so much happens to these two guys. They end up going through hell and back in this book in order to find their happy ending. From family/ex issues and an accident, plus a lot of drama suspense and action, all keeps you interested in this book. Pete and Liam have to rely on each other during the hardest times even when they are still virtually strangers and it just makes their bond together even stronger.
