After being incarcerated at a prison that leans over the edge of the world, Fayt must do whatever it takes to escape (or simply survive) the horrors that await him. You will take control of Fayt and guide him on his path, but be careful, for not everyone posing as an ally will lead you down the road to freedom.

Wow! Choose Your Own Adventure. Adult Version

If you never read one before let me explain how it works. As you finish reading a chapter or a section you will find choices of where you can go depending on how you choose for the character to proceed. Basically, the outcome of the story depends on the choices you've made as you read the book. It's fun, it's different and it puts you in the driver's seat. For that alone, I can rave about this book.

Now as far as the writing is concerned, T.C. did a fantastic job. This world that has been created for the story is so vividly painted for us from the first sentence of the story. I swear I could hear the waves lapping at the sides of the ship and the chains and bars rattling. It was amazing how well I pictured it all in my mind.

Now as for the story itself, well, it's dark and violent and in all honesty, some of the graphic scenes weren't ones I felt wholly comfortable with (Rape and Dubious Consent). The rest I was fine with. However, I think those scenes took away a little from my enjoyment and I know it's because of how they were presented. I'm trying to avoid spoilers so I won't say anything more, if and when you read it you'll know what I'm talking about.

Overall, I enjoyed this story and I hope there will be more like it. I would definitely recommend it to readers who like reading stories more than once, you'll get something new each time.
