Second chances is my absolute favorite trope. I love that you don't have the awkward meeting and getting-to-know-you stage of the relationship. Riley did an amazing job at letting us see what happened in the past between Beckett and Christian, while keeping us firmly planted in the present and moving forward.
I loved Beck and Chris. They were lovable characters that you wanted to root for. You want them to mend their broken hearts and finally get that HEA. The story is well-written, paced well and filled with friendship, laughter, love, acceptance and just a little angst to keep it interesting, as well as smoking hot sex! I absolutely LOVED getting a small glimpse at the other characters from this series!
This has been my favorite series by this author so far and I'll definitely be revisiting it in the future. Highly recommended!!

I am a big fan of the Crossroads series and of Riley Hart and this novella does not disappoint! Beckett Monroe is a Motocross star that was just outed to the world, at least the motocross world. He needs to get away from it all and heads to Virginia to visit his friend Landon. What Beckett doesn't expect is his childhood best friend and first love to find out what happened and for him to join Beckett. Once Christian is with Beckett again, he can't deny that he has always loved him and that their future is together.
Beckett and Christian are such a great addition to the Crossroads guys! They have a lot of history together, both good and bad. I loved watching these friends reunite and find love again. I especially loved seeing them blend and merge with all the Crossroads guys.
As with all of Riley's guys, I just want more! And as can always be expected from Riley, the characters are well-developed, the dialogue is well written, the guys provide us laughs and the sex is smoking HOT! Riley writes some of the steamiest books in the genre!
I highly recommend any and all if Riley's books but the Crossroads series will always hold a special place!
5 Stars!
