It's a modern day fairytale literally, Edwin is a Fairy Godfather in training and Trick is in desperate need of a little magic. While Edwin does his best to get Trick the things he desires the most in life, career and love. These two men forge an incredible bond and love isn't far behind. But Edwin is on borrowed time, as soon as Trick gets the life he wants, Edwin will go back home.

This was a cute story and I really liked both Trick and Edwin. I'm not going to lie, though, I got very irritated with the way Trick was treated by his boss, Mr. Redden and his twin sons, who were basically spoiled entitled jerks. It was almost like a Cinderella/Cinderfella type story. Personally, I had to stop myself from screaming at everyone.

Trick is good at what he does and man, does he have a lot of patience and loyalty. I would have taken off long before he began to realize he needed out. This Architecture firm is his father's legacy and his best friend and business partner has turned it into something almost unrecognizable and Trick is struggling with that. He should have what is rightfully his but instead he's barely surviving. But he doesn't give up, he doesn't believe in walking away and it shows what a good man he is.

Edwin is super sweet and a bit naive, he's a fairy after all, so this world is very new to him. He's good through and through, though, and you can't help but fall in love with him. He's generous and selfless and so all he wants is for Trick to be happy. He starts to truly perfect his magic as he spends time with Trick and he becomes a very good Fairy Godfather. Of course falling for Trick throws a wrench in everything.

Overall, this is a funny, cute and sweet book. I definitely recommend it to those who love fairytales.
