Blurb/Synopsis:

Robert Ashton is in for the surprise of a lifetime. His mother, a bit of a rebel, raised him away from the rest of the family, and it’s not until he’s contacted by his lawyer about an inheritance that he learns who he truly is: the new Earl of Hantford. His legacy includes ownership of the historic Ashton Park Estate—which needs repairs Robert cannot afford. He’ll simply do what the nobility has done for centuries when in need of money. He’ll marry it.
Tech wizard Daniel Fabian is wealthy and successful. In fact, he has almost everything—except a title to make him worthy in the eyes of the old-money snobs he went to prep school with. His high school reunion is looming, and he’s determined to attend it as a member of the aristocracy.
That’s where Robert comes in.
Daniel has the money, Robert has the name, and both of them know they can help each other out. But their marriage of convenience has the potential to become a real love match—unless a threat to Daniel’s business ruins everything.

“Daniel, its Valerie at Perfect Mates. I apologize for calling so late, but I found someone I’d like you to meet. He’s in the country for a week on business. And I think he’s someone who might interest you.”

“Oh? Where’s he from?”

“His name is Robert. He’s a barrister from England, and he has a client with business here. This is his first time in the States.” She sounded different than she had in the office, and Daniel couldn’t quite place why. “He’s a new client with us. I’ll text you over a picture of him. I think Robert has the potential to be a match for you. If you’re okay with having dinner, I’ll call in a favor and get you reservations.”

“Tonight? Isn’t that short notice?”

“He’s here for the week. Sometimes you have to be willing to take opportunities when they present themselves. All I’m offering is dinner.”

“Okay,” Daniel agreed. “Is this kind of thing normal?”

“Goodness, no,” Valerie chuckled richly. “But it isn’t often that I get this kind of feeling about clients either. I met with him an hour after I left you, and I got the impression the two of you might be right. Call it intuition or whatever. But I’ve been in this business long enough to not discount this kind of thing.”

Daniel checked his watch. It was still before six, and a lonely evening with his computer and his butt on his fancy leather sofa loomed ahead of him. “All right. I need to go home and change. Make the reservation and I’ll meet Robert.”

I am so excited to be here with you today.  Noble Intentions had its beginnings in a rather unusual way.  Most of my stories start with either and idea for a character or a theme.  But this one began with a request form Elizabeth at Dreamspinner.  She asked me for a story about millionaires, and nobility.  Of course that got my head running and I thought of the Million Dollar American Princesses and decided to use that as a basis.  Money for a title.  Of course as I got into the story I got much more than I bargained for and once the characters started speaking, they took the story in their own direction.  I didn’t want this to be a simple marriage of convenience story. I really wanted more and the characters provided that.  They had to face a lot together in order to come out with a true happily ever after.  I really hope you enjoy the journey.
