4.5 Stars!!!

So, who would've thought a BDSM book could be such fun to read? Not me, that's for sure!

I fell in love with the blurb, especially considering that GFY is one of my favorite tropes and even if I was a bit wary because of the BDSM elements, well, I just couldn't resist signing up for it.

I was pleasantly surprised that even if there's a lot of BDSM, it was perfectly balanced by the growing attraction with a touch of instalove between Seth and Baker. The chemistry between them was off the charts and they were so much fun together, never mind that they were oh so hot! Baker was sassy and sweet and the perfect sub for Seth. And Seth, well, it was nice seeing him rattled and jealous when it came to Baker. Neither of them expected to want more from the other, especially not Baker, who up until meeting Seth was straight. I really liked that Baker's realization was gradual and while he sort of freaked out at first, once he decided what he wanted he went for it. And while there were a couple of times in which I might have wanted to spank Seth, I think, ultimately, they were both just what the other needed.

I liked Landon and Ari, and even Mistress Samantha, and I'm very intrigued about Eli. I really hope we'll get Ari and Eli's story in the future.

While the case they were working on was a bit underdeveloped and rushed, it was still interesting and I really didn't mind all that much to have it sacrificed to focus on Seth and Baker's relationship instead.

Overall, I loved Sub Mission! It was fun, hot, unexpected and I was absolutely enthralled by Seth and Baker's story. Definitely a must-read and while this was my first T.S. McKinney book, rest assured that it won't be the last!

4.5 stars!

This book was my first from T.S. McKinney and it won't be my last. The story is well-paced as is the action.

Seth is an agent for The Company and a well-respected Dom. He needs an agent who is submissive to help track down a killer that is targeting subs at a club. Unfortunately, his boss keeps sending him other agents who think they can "act" like a submissive. Just when Seth is convinced they'll not be able to find someone, Baker comes in. He's physically everything that Seth wants in a sub, and he clearly is submissive and in the lifestyle. The only snag: Baker is straight.

I liked Seth. He was definitely human and got the shock of his life when he meets the perfect sub who isn't gay. He let his emotions get in the way a few times, which for a Dom of his experience he should know better. Minus the one scene at the beginning where he tests Baker's ability to submit, he does a good job of taking care of Baker during BDSM scenes. I was happy to see that Baker called him out when he needed to as well. Baker was fun. I loved that he found new sides of his personality with Seth. They clearly have chemistry and fit together well in the lifestyle even as Seth introduces Baker to all kinds of new experiences.

I liked that both characters made mistakes that in most cases they wouldn't have; it made them more human. I liked that Baker was able to deal with the uncomfortable truths that he found and experienced as Seth and he finds their rhythm as Dom and sub before hitting the BDSM club together undercover. I wanted to slap Seth upside the head after the case was over, but I'm glad that he finally got himself together. Considering how truthful both of them were during scenes, I wish one of them would have taken the chance to talk about their feelings earlier instead of letting doubts and fears control them. Of course, hadn't they avoided that talk, we might not have gotten to meet the Director of the company, who's a blast.

I really enjoyed this book and devoured it quickly. I really hope that Ari and Eli have a book coming soon. I have a feeling their story will be a lot of fun.

T.S. McKinney lives in East Tennessee with her high school sweetheart/husband and all the countless dogs she picks up from deserted country roads. Her professional career has been in business but her heart has always belonged to the fantasy world found in books.
Creating wicked worlds where one can meet the perfect hero – and then do anything to him that you want – has been a hobby that has brought her plenty of hours of fun and naughty entertainment. When not working, reading, or writing, she loves to spend time with my family and forcing them (because they don’t really have another choice) to allow me to redecorate their houses…and listen to my naughty…sometimes sadistic stories.
