4 Stars!

My favorite story was Hero's Quest by Kay Ellis. I absolutely fell in love with the improbable romance between Hero, an Orc, and his human, Kez. They were amazing and they had a fantastic supporting cast. It was well-written and emotional, I was blindsided by how invested I was in this novelette considering its length.

My other favorites were Rules of the Game by TL Travis, which was sweet and hot with some very light angst thrown in for good measure; Blood Eternal by SL Perrine, a great vampire story with a very satisfying ending; and Collide by Elaine White, which was both hot and entertaining, with very likable characters.

Then we have Rule 1 by Victoria Kinnaird, which was such a sweet story. It was so much fun to see Jack and JJ trying to find time and space for some private stolen moments on the band's tour bus. Heehee! The Vampire's Return by Lily Luchesi was really good and the ending was definitely not what I expected, but worked well for Desi and Oscar. Always and Forever by Hope Daniels was also a great second chances story, I probably would've enjoyed it more if there hadn't been talks about adding a third into the mix eventually.

His Reckoning by Raechel Lynn had some of the hottest non-con/dub-con scenes I've ever read. *fans self* However, the ending was too open-ended for my taste. Same with Seductive Secrets by Piper Kay, which was really good, but I was left with too many questions at the end of it. And, Scratching an Itch and The End by Shelly Davidson, which, while good, I just wanted to throw something when I finished The End, it was a really evil place to leave a book at.

So, yeah, it's rare to find an anthology so complete and with so many great stories for a fantastic price and with the added benefit of helping a great cause. Usually, there's one or maybe two stories that are outstanding and the rest are good or average. In this case? I had 4 favorites and 3 stories that were really good and then three that it wasn't that they weren't good, it's just that I prefer my books to have a HFN or HEA ending and not be left hanging.

Very recommendable!
