Blurb

Can one drunken night in Vegas and a pair of wedding rings lead to a happily ever after?

Love has never been a good bet for Chris, so going on a Vegas wedding trip for his friends is bittersweet. Especially when Ant, the last man to break his trust, is suddenly along for the ride. Which explains why Chris wakes up in his hotel room with the mother of all hangovers. Not so much why Ant is in his bed ... or worse, wearing a matching wedding band.

Ant invited himself on a Vegas trip, gambling on a second chance with the man who got away. He never dreamt he'd be the one with a wedding ring on his finger, but if their predicament gets Chris talking to him again, he'll make the most of it.

Between keeping their secret from friends and trying to figure out what really happened that first crazy night in Vegas, passions ignite. If they can hold on to their fresh start, maybe the Vegas motto doesn't have to hold true: What happens in Vegas doesn't have to stay there.

Anti-Valentine

3 Stars

Harry is looking for love but can’t seem to hold onto it for long. Bret has decided there is no such thing as love and romance, only sex and disappointment. When these two meet at Bret’s Anti-Valentine's Day party, they instantly clash. However, when they really sit down and talk, they find they have a lot more in common than they ever thought.

So this is a short little story filled with humor, snark, and romance. Bret is gray-sexual so he’s had a rough time keeping boyfriends for too long. It’s made him jaded and bitter but deep down he wants the actual romance he likes to balk at. He’s just got to get past his attitude and preconceived notions about Harry.

Harry is the one who still believes in love and romance. He just can’t seem to find it for long yet he’s not quite ready to give up completely. He sees something in Bret and luckily for Bret, Harry doesn’t give up on him. Harry’s kind of the sunshiny one of the two.

Overall, this was an entertaining read.

Anti-Boyfriend

3.5 Stars!

It’s weird when you like one MC and hate the other one. That’s what happened here, to be honest. Riley was like the type of guy I’ve always hated. Completely oblivious to his “best friend's” feelings and only caring about his own feelings. Ugh! Riley made me so mad on more than one occasion and I just wanted to shake him or kick him in the shins.

Brad was very likable and I truly felt bad for him because Riley had no qualms about using him. Brad deserved better. At least he and Riley were hot together when they were actually together.

Overall, this is an okay read but I’m not a fan of Riley.

Anti-Marriage

4 Stars!

While this is probably my favorite of the series, I must admit I really didn’t care for Chris. I loved Ant and honestly thought he was a bit masochistic to try to repeatedly go after Chris and be treated like dirt. I felt sorry for him because he seemed like such a good guy who just couldn’t catch a break where Chris was concerned. Chris, however, was way too standoffish to me and even though it was explained why, he never gave Ant a chance to explain what really happened. I just never warmed up to him.

On a positive note though, I actually liked Riley in this one. Riley and Brad are very cute together and they made me quite happy in this story. I really liked seeing how much their relationship has grown since their book as well as Harry and Bret.

Overall, I enjoyed the story but not Chris, of course, that’s probably just me.

Author Bio

DJ Jamison is the author of more than a dozen m/m romances, including the Ashe Sentinel series and the Hearts and Health series. She writes a variety of queer characters, from gay to bisexual to asexual, with a focus on telling love stories that are more about common ground than lust at first sight. DJ grew up in the Midwest in a working-class family, and those influences can be found in her writing through characters coping with real-life problems: money troubles, workplace drama, family conflicts and, of course, falling in love. DJ spent more than a decade in the newspaper industry before chasing her first dream to write fiction. She spent a lifetime reading before that, and continues to avidly devour her fellow authors' books each night. She lives in Kansas with her husband, two sons, two fish and, regrettably, one snake.
