Jamie’s life is one big financial mess, and it really isn’t his fault. However, the last thing he expected to find in the library was a Good Samaritan. He might have been suspicious of Guy’s motives at first, but it soon becomes apparent that his savior is a good man who has been lucky in life and is looking to pay it forward. Guy being gay is not a problem. Jamie’s not interested… or so he thinks.
Guy is happy to help Jamie, and the two men get along fine. But when Jamie’s curiosity leads him from one thing to another, Guy finds himself looking at the younger man with new eyes. What started out as a hand up is now something completely different….
5 Stars!
Jamie is at the end of his rope, his parents have spent his college fund in their divorce, he's working 3 jobs to make ends meet and just lost one of them, he's behind on his rent and about to be evicted and his dad can't really help him out. When a stranger offers to help him out, he is wary, especially when he learns that Guy, his would-be savior, is gay. But Guy assures him he's happy to help Jamie, no strings attached, and Jamie is desperate enough to accept. Jamie gets along with Guy really well, and slowly Jamie starts seeing Guy in another light, his curiosity leading him to want more, just as Guy starts thinking of Jamie as more than his roommate.
This was an amazing read! Definitely one of the best May/December books I've read. Even if there was a 17-year age gap between Jamie and Guy, I never felt there was a disbalanced relationship between them. Not when they met, not when they became roommates and even less when they became more. While it was obvious Jamie was very much a 20-year-old, he was very mature for his age, he knew what he wanted and while he'd thought of himself as straight until he started thinking more about Guy, he was open enough not to make much of an issue of it. Guy was great, too. I loved his history with Stephen, which made him want to help Jamie out in the first place, and that he always gave Jamie his space and the chance to work things out at his own pace.
They were great together, their chemistry was magnetic and the sex scenes were insanely hot! *fans self*
I loved Carla and Ryan and Guy's friends. They were amazing and really added up to the story. And I hated Miranda and Patrick. Grrr!
All in all, this was such a delightful book! Well-written, with a very natural progression and pace, making it even more realistic for me. I fell in love with Guy and Jamie and loved the epilogue to bits! I hope Ms. Wells considers writing more books in this 'verse, I wouldn't mind seeing more of any of the characters we met in this story.
Highly recommendable!

Author Bio
Born and raised in the north-west of England, K.C. WELLS always loved writing. Words were important. Full stop. However, when childhood gave way to adulthood, the writing ceased, as life got in the way. K.C. discovered erotic fiction in 2009, when the purchase of a ménage storyline led to the startling discovery that reading about men in love was damn hot. In 2012, arriving at a really low point in life led to the desperate need to do something creative. An even bigger discovery waited in the wings—writing about men in love was even hotter….
K.C. now writes full-time and is loving every minute of her new career. The laptop still has no idea of what hit it… it only knows that it wants a rest, please. And it now has to get used to the idea that where K.C goes, it goes.
And as for those men in love that she writes about? The list of stories just waiting to be written is getting longer… and longer….
K.C. loves to hear from readers.
