Real Estate Relations Series
Blurb
Lee
I changed my name, but I can’t change what I did. My brothers died, and I spent three years in witness protection. Returning to Fields, where I once hid out, feels right. Seeing Miguel again feels even better. But when a dead body interrupts my tour of a building for sale, my start isn’t as fresh as I’d like.
Miguel
I’ve been trying to curb my habit of leaping into bad relationships, but when Lee comes back to town, he's hard to resist. Kids are dying, and life’s too short to shy away from a good thing. But will Lee’s mysterious past come back to bite me?
Between police questioning and trials of trust, it's far from smooth sailing. If we don’t figure out who’s selling synthetic drugs and convince the police Lee is not their man, we may all have a severe case of buyer’s remorse.
Buyer's Remorse includes hurt/comfort, second-chance romance, and mystery themes.
Excerpt
We began to sway to a slow song. He moved in closer, resting his head on my shoulder,
and my heart clenched. He felt so good in my arms. In that moment, with his body warming mine, I missed him desperately.
“Mig,” he murmured.
“Yeah?”
“Hold me tighter?”
My pulse skittered, but I hugged his body closer to mine. His hair brushed my chin and
neck, teasing out goose bumps.
“Tighter,” he said.
There was an oddly vulnerable note in his voice, as if he really needed me to hold him
and was embarrassed by it. I tugged him flush up against me, so tight I couldn’t tell where I
stopped and he began. His body was hard against mine, nothing soft about this man except his
voice.
I tilted his face up with a finger. Those eyes burned into me, smoldering, yes, but there
was grief there as well. I could see how much he wanted me. Maybe even needed me.
My walls, already on the weak side, collapsed under the weight of his stare.
I bent down and kissed him.
His mouth was sweet with the flavor of a tequila sunrise. His hands tightened on my
shoulders, and I had a split second to wonder if he was going to push me away. Why should
he let me kiss him after I’d shut him out? It wasn’t fair, the way I’d promised he didn’t have
to tell me his deep, dark secrets, promised that his past didn’t matter to me, and then
condemned him when I found out the truth. I didn’t know yet if I could be with Lee, knowing
what he’d done, but he deserved a chance to explain.
But Lee didn’t push me away. He pulled me closer, thrusting his tongue out to meet mine
in a wild kiss.
There was nothing tame about Lee. He was fire, and I was playing with it, but I couldn’t
stay away.

Real Estate Relations:
~Full Disclosure~
4 Stars!
Well, I am happy to say that I truly enjoyed Full Disclosure. The story is a wonderful blend of humor and romance, action and suspense. Lovable characters that I want to see more of and secondary characters I can’t wait to find out more about. I would definitely recommend Full Disclosure.
Camden is a bit down on his luck. Trying to catch a break in the real estate business and hoping an end will come to his job as a singing hotdog. He drives a crappy car, lives in a crappy apartment and tries to avoid his crappy ex-boyfriend Austin, who can’t seem to stay sober. He finally thinks he’s gonna catch a break when he gets the listing for Ivy Lane, unfortunately, though, all it seems to bring is trouble. Making matters worse is the home’s owner, Reid. Cam can’t seem to fight the attraction to the sexy man even if he does have a boyfriend who seems to hate Cam at first glance.
Reid was pushed out of the US Marshall’s and forced to take a leave of absence from his current Security Firm. Working on the old house he inherited to ready it for the market seems like his best bet. He never expected to meet a man he wants with such intensity. Too bad he’s staying in the Ivy Lane house with his “boyfriend” Lee. He has no clue how he can possibly have Cam and keep Lee safe.
I found Camden hilarious. This poor guy had the worst luck and even though he struggled, he was so sweet and tried so hard. He isn’t some flighty airhead that had no idea what he was doing or what he wanted. Cam was smart, good with most people and extremely hardworking. He was a good guy, too and I just wanted to hug him.
He and Reid had great chemistry and I liked how they were with each other. They made a great couple and I hope we get to see more of them in future books. Hopefully, we’ll get a great story for Miguel and Lee also.
~Buyer's Remorse~
4 Stars!
Buyer's Remorse is book 2 in the Real Estate Relations Series by D.J. Jamison. I was super excited to read this one after meeting Lee and Miguel in Full Disclosure. Now it’s three years later and Lee has returned to Fields and he’s brought his mother and sister with him. He’s not the same Lee we saw in book 1, he’s matured a bit which was, in all honesty, bittersweet because I loved his snarky little P.I.T.A. attitude from before. However, it’s great to see him now as well. He’s striving for a second chance at life and it’s great.
Miguel has grown a bit since we last saw him as well but, unfortunately, I just wasn’t feeling him as much as Lee. Now, I’m not saying I didn’t care for him because I did, I just seemed to enjoy Lee a bit more. I did love him with Lee, though. I loved the attraction the two men shared in Full Disclosure so it wasn’t hard to imagine that it would be great in Buyer’s Remorse. They have great chemistry and are quite sexy together.
The story was well done and I didn’t want to put it down for long. D.J. Jamison did a wonderful job at creating a story that kept my attention from beginning to end. I’d definitely recommend both Buyer's Remorse and Full Disclosure.
