Blog Tour: Starting Over by C.J. Baty (Guest Post+Giveaway)

What’s coming in the Knights Club Series:

Starting Over is book 1. This is Xavier Knight and Sebastian Brady’s story, as well as the introduction of future main characters.

Letting Go is book 2. Calypso is a man with a past that just won’t let him go. He love wearing high heels and dressing in bright colors that contrast with his deep mahogany skin. He’s got southern charm and a whole lot of BS to go with it. Meeting Benedict Hart, a gorgeous dark haired god who just happens to be a gigolo, makes him want things he never thought possible.

Learning Trust is book 3. Rio Garcia is trying to build a life away from his past, but in one swipe of the political mess the country is in, his life is turned on his head. He’s Hispanic and he makes his living working behind the bar at a gay club making patrons happy with his body and brooding good looks. He doesn’t trust in love or gay for you guys or cops. Malachi Brady is a cop who isn’t out of the closet and has never had a gay lover, but he wants one. He wants Rio Garcia, but what does Rio want?

Coming Out
is book 4. Phillip Hapner has a lot of problems. One he isn’t exactly sure what he is. Being attracted to both men and women has become a problem. He hurt Katelyn Brady because he knew what they shared wasn’t what he needed, that was before Seb and Malachi Brady found out about it. Now that was a problem. Also, Steve Coulter, Malachi’s partner was another problem. No man had ever got to him the way Steve does. Then there’s the gambling problem, and the men who aren’t happy that he isn’t donating dollars to their coffers anymore. Steve isn’t out at work and Phillip isn’t helping him stay inside the closet at all.

Deserving Forgiveness is book 5. Zachary Brady, the oldest Brady brother, has caused a lot of harm to both his brothers and the people they love. He returns to Atlanta hoping to find forgiveness and start over with his family, but does he deserve it? Book 5 will also include Pixie and Tiny’s story. Pixie has an ex with a vendetta, and Tiny wants to keep the woman and her son safe. This last book will tie up the series and the character’s HEA’s.

Blurb

Xavier Knight was starting his life over. A new city. A new club. The past was gone, and he had everything to look forward to… except… love. That ship had sailed, never to return. He was too old to play the games or stack up the one night stands. Until, an old enemy’s son walked into his club and his heart.

Sebastian Brady was through. Through with hiding who he was. Through letting his brother officers dictate his life. And completely through, with his family telling him who he was. He turned his back on his badge and his family’s heritage in the Atlanta police force. But, he never imagined that he’d be serving drinks in a gay bar and working for the hottest silver fox he had ever seen in his life.

Xavier and Seb have a lot to learn from each other. Hopefully, their growing love will survive Xavier’s past, Seb’s family, and a host of characters with secrets of their own, who all work at the Knights Club.

C. J. Baty lives in southwest Ohio. Her heart, however, lives in the mountains of Tennessee where she hopes to retire some day. The mountains have always provided her with inspiration and a soothing balm to the stresses of everyday life.

The dream of writing her own stories started in high school but was left on the back burner of life until her son introduced her to fan fiction and encouraged her to give it a try. She found that her passion for telling a story was still there and writing them down to share with others was much more thrilling than she had ever expected.

She has a loving and supportive family who don't mind fixing their own meals when she is in the middle of a story, and a network of friends who have encouraged and cheered her on in her quest of being an author.

One thing she has learned from life and she is often heard to say is: “You are never too old to follow your dream!”
