Release Blitz ~ Link'd Up (Dead Presidents MC Series #1) by Harley Stone (Review + Giveaway)

Title: Link'd Up
Series: Dead Presidents MC Series #1
Author: Harley Stone
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: March 26, 2018
President Tyler “Link” Lincoln of the Dead Presidents MC, runs a club dedicated to helping military vets readjust to society. When his sergeant at arms is arrested for the attempted murder of a prominent Seattle figure, Link’s search for a lawyer brave enough to fight for justice leads him to an alluring defense attorney with a bleeding heart and a steel backbone.
This isn’t the first time Emily Stafford’s commitment to defending the falsely accused has put her in harm’s way. Smart, cautious, and independent, she knows how to defend herself. At least, she did until she joined forces with one sexy, overbearing, tattooed MC president.
Flames run hot as Link and Emily seek shelter in the club’s converted fire station, working against the clock to uncover the truth and save a somewhat innocent man.

4.5 Stars!
I love when I find a book that grips me from page 1 and doesn’t let go. Link’d Up did exactly that. It was different and when you read as much as I do, that’s a wonderful thing. So many times I find myself frustrated and/or bored with books because it’s always the same ole plot devices we see time and time again. I love finding something new and unique.

Link is the President of the Dead Presidents MC, a club that has dedicated itself to helping military veterans after returning stateside. They aren’t Outlaw one percenters, even if some of the members may not always behave like Boy Scouts. Link cares for all of his brothers and would do anything to help them when they need it.

When Link’s Sgt. At Arms, Havoc, is locked up for assaulting the Mayor's Son, Link is determined t get him out. It’s obvious to anyone who knows Havoc that he would’ve only attacked the man if he had due cause. But with no witnesses coming forward and no evidence to support Havoc’s story that he was helping a woman who was being raped, their only hope is to hire the best criminal defense attorney they can find. They’ll have to be not only smart but brave enough to go up against the mayor who’ll try to protect his son at all costs.

Enter Emily Stafford, Seattle Criminal Defense Attorney. Emily is one tough lady and I loved that. She wasn’t scared to take on a case that she knew was going to be complicated and potentially dangerous. I loved the way she was with Havoc, who is described as very intimidating aka “scary ass mofo”. Her reactions seemed very realistic and she was quite charming, in fact. Of course, she is instantly attracted to Link which is pretty much par for the course in a story like this but it was done well and honestly the two had great chemistry.

Overall, this story was very well written. Intriguing characters and an exciting storyline. Lots of action as well as romance. I enjoyed the characters and am anxious to see where the series goes and what Harley Stone has planned for them. I definitely recommend Link’d Up.
