We met Wes Sinclair on Dirty Sexy Sinner, the last book in the Dirty Sexy series from which this new series spins off and damn if it doesn't start with a bang!
Wes is an irresistible heartbreaker, with no interest in committing to any woman. Natalie Prescott is his best friend's little sister and his frenemy, while he's been attracted to her since they were teens, she's off-limits for him until she comes to him with a suggestion that might change Wes' views on relationships.
Natalie was feisty, competitive and just perfect for Wes. I really liked her spirit and how she challenged him. It was really fun to read how she pushed his buttons until she broke his resolve to keep her at arm's length. Wes might have been a bad boy, but he values Connor's friendship and that shows by how hard he tried to resist Natalie until she pushed him too far. Their banter, their competitiveness, and their explosive chemistry made for one very entertaining and sexy read.
I loved Max and Connor and I can't wait for their stories and if I might be so bold, please, please, PLEASE, Ms. Phillips and Ms. Wilde, could you please write Richard's story, too? I'm sure you'd do an amazing job at writing MM and he was such a delightful character!
All in all, a fantastic start to this new series and another fantastic collaboration by Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde, two of my favorite MF authors. The ending was a tad abrupt, but I'm sure we'll get to catch up with Natalie and Wes in the next book(s). Other than that, you're in for a treat with this story! Highly recommendable!
