Two incurable bachelors, one incredible journey…

Jagger Jackson hides behind a sexy playboy veneer. He’d rather people see him as a man who doesn’t believe in love, rather than one who doesn’t deserve it. No matter how hard he works, he still sees himself as the unlovable boy from the wrong side of the tracks.

Miller Brexler doesn’t believe he’ll ever meet a man who could make him want to settle down. He’s perfectly happy with his hit it and quit it lifestyle. Behind his easygoing nature is a man who’s passionately devoted to his career, family, and friends.

JJ and Miller are brought together when their best friends meet and fall in love. Sparks fly from the very beginning and no matter how much they try to fight it, their attraction is unavoidable. What starts out as “just sex” has the potential to become so much more if JJ can come to terms with his painful past, and Miller is willing to admit that love may be the missing piece in his seemingly perfect life.

Will these two stubborn hearts admit that they might’ve been wrong about love or will they allow the chance at true happiness to slip away? This is the tale of two imperfect men that together make a perfect fit.

Perfect Fit is the fourth book in the Fated Hearts series and can be read as a standalone novel or as part of the series. Many of the characters in the book have been introduced in Chasing Mr. Wright, Rhythm of Us, and Surrender Your Heart.

*This book contains sexually explicit material and is intended for adults only.

Perfect Fit is book 4 in the Fated Hearts series and while it can be perfectly read as a standalone—actually out of all the books I've read of the series so far, this is the one that I feel like you could actually get away with starting out with it—I suggest you read previous three books in the series, since there's an ongoing secondary storyline that intertwines all the characters' lives and that you wouldn't want to miss out on.

We met JJ (Jag) and Miller in the first book in the series and throughout the rest of the books, we've gotten to see little tidbits, teasers if you will, of what's going on with them, but believe me, I had no clue of what I was getting into. The only thing I was pretty sure was that this book had the potential of being my favorite of the series and guess what? I was bloody right!

JJ is a confirmed bachelor, certain that he's not worthy of being loved and Miller is a commitment-phobe, both are content with playing the field. While they're attracted to each other from the moment they meet, Miller refrains from pursuing anything with JJ because Gray, Chase's husband, isn't a fan of JJ, since he is Chase's ex and now his best friend and Chase refuses to give up on his friend no matter how Gray feels about it. See why you need to read the first books, yet? Hahahaha! Okay, so long story short, life keeps throwing JJ and Miller together, until Miller can't resist any longer and wow, when these two get together? It's like fireworks exploding! One time turns to two and more, until they can barely stay apart and feelings start developing, feelings that neither of them is willing to acknowledge. However, there's the little fact that Miller isn't willing to come clean to their friends that he and Jag are sort of together and that might prove to be a dealbreaker.

I have a huge soft spot for Jag and I just wanted to cuddle him when Miller was being his pigheaded stubborn self during the first half of the book. Miller really came through for Jag after that, though, and Jag more than proved that he was worthy of all the love and trust bestowed on him. I adored their notes and gifts and how sappy they were with each other, so different than what we'd seen in the other books. They just fit together perfectly. The chemistry between them was off-the-charts and the sex scenes? Damn hot! *fans self*

I loved their interactions with Lucas and Lily and with the rest of the gang. It was so lovely to catch up with all of them.

It was a rollercoaster kind of read and I haven't cried with a book so much in a long time. So, stock on your tissues before starting if you're a crybaby like me. I'm not saying anything more than you absolutely need to read this book. It's definitely going right to my favorites shelf!

  5. Thanks for the great review!!

From the rafflecopter question: What's your favorite book that's part of a series? - it is really tough to pick just one favorite book from a series, but I will go with Widdershins by Jordan L Hawk from the Whyborne & Griffin series - both the ebook and the audiobook.

  8. My favourite book from a series is so difficult I'll choose "BOATK" by TJ Klune I loved the first book and each following one has been just as good, the next one I think is out sometime this year.

  10. I couldn't possibly pick just one. There are too many great series with too many wonderful books. That's like asking a parent who their favorite child is.
