From animosity to searing passion in a lunar cycle… but can their bond survive?

Wolf shifter Nathan Kohl’s pack is his whole life. Arrogant and handsome, he avoids commitment to anything or anyone outside of his pack. He works hard, plays hard, and pursues humans as lovers because there’s little to no chance of him forming a permanent bond. However, when Jared Taylor comes into Nathan’s life, every rule is broken.

After a bad experience, Jared vowed to never get involved with another shifter, no matter how much they got under his skin. Despite being physically attracted to Nathan, who’s all kinds of hot, Jared only sees an arrogant, domineering bastard.

A disastrous case of mistaken identity throws Nathan and Jared together until the next full moon. Forced to spend the next twenty-eight days in close proximity, they can no longer ignore the powerful attraction between them. Passion ignites, and their relationship takes a turn neither of them wanted.

But when the full moon comes, everything might change again.

After a bad experience, Jared ends up hating all shifters, and yet, he can't stop himself from being attracted to Nathan, a wolf shifter, when he approaches Jared at a club. When Nathan bites Jared by accident, he freaks out and brings Jared to his apartment, forcing them to stay together until the next full moon. As they get to know each other, they can't ignore the attraction they feel or give into it. Once the full moon comes, there's a chance it'll all change again.

I loved Nathan! He was such a charming, lovable character. Even when he messed up, I just couldn't stop myself from rooting for him. There was just something about him that just drew me to him. It took me longer to warm up to Jared, he was very annoying during the first half of the book, although I have to admit he did get much better and I ended up liking him quite a bit. They had an explosive chemistry and I absolutely loved how drawn they were to each other.

The rogue pack storyline was interesting, same as the bite arc and how it affected both Nathan and Jared. It was a fast-paced, well-written book that I couldn't put down until the last page and that I definitely recommend to all shifter book lovers.

Rating: 4.5 Stars!!!

We all know I love a good shifter book, I'm not sure if it's the idea of man and beast coexisting within one being or if it's the mating or the idea of a fated mate, that one person made only for you. When I started Bitten by Mistake I wasn't sure if I would get what I look for in a good werewolf book. This story is quite different than most I've read, which can be a positive thing. I was a bit confused about pack dynamics as well as the relationship between shifters and humans, luckily as the story went on I found myself completely enthralled.

I loved that the mating was a learning experience, for not only human but shifter. I still prefer the traditional True Mate/Soul Bond relationships we generally see, but this was an exciting change from the norm. I liked it.

As for the characters, I absolutely loved Nathan. From the very start I found his cockiness endearing, his vulnerability sweet and his persistence with Jared amusing. He had quite a few flaws but he was such a lovable character I am anxious to see more of him. Jared, on the other hand, was irritating at first and his incessant whining and negativity was a major turn off. I flat out could not stand him for a fair bit of the story but...like so many characters in the past, he got past my defenses and I started liking him. By the end I loved him too and was happy with the outcome.

Would I recommend Bitten By Mistake? Absolutely!

4.5 Stars!
