When Reggie’s garage became part of a popular reality show, business went through the roof. And he supposes having his shop in the black is a fair trade for jumping through the network’s hoops.

As the show’s lowest-ranking producer, Wes is tasked with proposing a new spin-off show to Reggie. The sexy mechanic makes him sweat on a normal day, but this time, Wes is holding cards he can’t show. With execs breathing down his neck, he’s expected to pitch a show Reggie will never agree to do, even if his rejection puts his existing show on the line.
The network is counting on Reggie refusing to sign. But they’re not counting on their messenger falling for the man they’re trying to fire.

First Edition published by Amber Quill Press, 2015.

Wes, a producer for the network, is sent by the execs of Wrench Wars to try to convince Reggie to do a spin-off or Wes will risk losing his job, and Reggie his spot on the Wrench Wars show. Reggie and Wes have, unbeknownst to the other, been lusting after one another for sometime now.

The story was well-written, the plot interesting and both characters are extremely likable and they share an undeniable chemistry. The sex was not only hot, but sweet at times, too. I was really disappointed, that although they are mentioned, we aren't given an update on how things are going between Chandler and Mark. Of the three stories, theirs has been my favorite by far.

As much as I loved this story, I wish the ending had been more solid. Give me an epilogue with a HEA, and this story would get 5 stars. Still, it was a very enjoyable, sexy and quick read. Highly recommended!

This is Book (novella) 3 in the Wrench Wars series. Though this is the third installment in the series, this book can be read on its own. The only real connection among the books is the reality show and Reggie's Garage.

In this novella, Reggie the owner of the garage is given an ultimatum to do a spinoff show or his garage will be removed from the show. Wes is the producer forced to give him the ultimatum. Both Reggie and Wes have been attracted to each other from initial meetings but it took alcohol to loosen their tongues.

I didn't understand why the executives wanted to get rid of the garage. Was it because Reggie wouldn't play their games or be manipulated? And, as with Book 2, this didn't feel like a HEA. I had thought that it was because previous couples would appear throughout the novellas so the HFN type endings made sense but so far that is not what's happened.

These are easy to read novellas, and I think the characters could really be engaging. However, I think it's hard to pack character development, storyline and sex all into a novella. It will be interesting to read future storylines and watch how the series develops further.
