4.5 Stars!

Taylor and his sister and Adam and his best friend both audition and get chosen to participate in a reality show, The World Traveler, and through a twist in the show, Taylor and Adam end up paired up together. It can either go spectacularly wrong or be the best thing that ever happened to either of them as they travel around the world competing for a big prize.

I have watched a few seasons of The Amazing Race, the show this book is based on, and I love it and I think Claire Castle did a fantastic job with that portion of the book. It made the story flow nicely and kept things interesting with the challenges the guys had to face, without taking away from Adam and Taylor's growing feelings for each other.

I loved Adam. He was a sweetheart and I adored that he was so relatable with his bookworm tendencies. But despite his sweet exterior, he was truly an asset to their team when it was needed. I liked Taylor, although I didn't feel as connected to him at first. He seemed a bit standoffish, at least until he met Adam and then he just sort of melted. Hahahaha! While this was a bit of insta-crush that quickly evolved into more when they were competing together, it didn't feel rushed. They just fit together so well, that it was kind of unavoidable.

This was such a low-angst, feel-good book, perfect to curl up in bed with on a rainy afternoon and just lose yourself in it as you follow Adam and Taylor into their HEA. Very recommendable!
