 A much shorter version of this story was originally published in the Not Quite Shakespeare Anthology by Dreamspinner Press. This version has been revised and extended. Almost half of it is new content.

Rowan agrees to attend the Riverbank Festival, a folk festival, to help his best-friend Max man a booth selling trinkets. The first night is a wash out filled with rainy weather, but Rowan and Max huddle together under the beer tent drinking. As they are discussing the events of the festival, Rowan puts his foot in his mouth when he insults the art of Morris Dancing, not realizing the hunky guy who just walked into the beer tent and caught his attention, just happen to be a Morris dancer. Can Rowan redeem himself and have a shot at the hunky dancer, Seth?


It's funny, my bff has dragged me to our local Pagan festival, as well as something called drums in the swaps *shudders*, these are so not my thing, but having attended these events, I have a pretty good idea of what the Riverbank festival is and all I can say is, I sympathize with poor Rowan, although he steps over to the dark side eventually! Haha


This was a hot and sexy little read. It moves really fast and I absolutely adored Rowan. The story is well-written and truthfully, it doesn't have a whole lot of substance, except some smoking hot sex, which Jay is a master at writing, he always seems to have me squirming in my seat, and maybe panting a bit. Just don't tell anyone!

This very enjoyable read, packed with likable characters, some funky dance moves and well, hot sex! Recommendable!

Author Bio

 Jay lives just outside Bristol in the West of England. He comes from a family of writers, but always used to believe that the gene for fiction writing had passed him by. He spent years only ever writing emails, articles, or website content.

 One day, Jay decided to try and write a short story—just to see if he could—and found it rather addictive. He hasn’t stopped writing since.

 Jay writes contemporary romance about men who fall in love with other men. He has five books published by Dreamspinner Press, and also self-publishes under the imprint Jaybird Press. Many of his books are now available as audiobooks.
