However, the night doesn’t turn out quite the way she expects it due to the hot-as-hell biker sitting in the chair directly beside her. The man gave one hell of a speech during the reception that sounded like something that could have come straight out of her own mouth, and she enjoyed every single second of it.

 Thrown together under similarly lousy circumstances, the two newly single jilted former lovers of the happy couple decide to go to Vegas on what was to be Verity’s honeymoon trip. One thing leads to another, and the next thing they know, their night has gone from a celebration of being single to a marriage—to each other. Verity and Truth now have to figure out if everything that happens in Vegas should stay in Vegas.

  

4.5 Stars! 

Well, I have to say this is probably my favorite so far for this particular series. I loved both Truth and Verity and for once the h did not irritate me. I actually found Verity to be fun and quirky and adored her sassy mouth. I was scared she'd be a bit weak or a pushover but she definitely was not.

Truth was easily likable, too and even when he did the unavoidable distancing himself from Verity I didn't hate him (he made me want to slap him for what he says but didn't hate him). I have to say he had a lot more patience with his jerk of a cousin Kenneth and his ex-girlfriend Destiny who happens to now be Kenneth's bride. He initially had me thinking he was going to be a hard and closed-off man, it turns out I was very very wrong and I'm pretty happy about that.

Together Truth and Verity are great. The chemistry is off the charts and they have some pretty great bedroom scenes. They just clicked, from their very first encounter until the end they really radiated a happy fun couple. There is some drama, of course, but most of it is funny or endearing as opposed to angsty which made this a pretty quick and easy read.

Lani Lynn Vale can be hit or miss for me depending on my mood. Her writing is consistently well done, my problem generally is that I am a fan of darker grittier Biker books and I generally find these books more "MC Lite". Of course this series has been different and I like it. I will definitely be anticipating the next story in the Dixie Warden Rejects.
