Can David help Mason dance, like he’s never danced before?

Blurb

New job, new city: Mason hopes both will lead to him escaping burnout as a ballet dancer. Not living out of a suitcase anymore is a bonus. His new life gets off to a steamy start when he encounters his new neighbour, David. Things soon become complicated when Mason turns up for his first day at BalletEast, to discover that David is not only his choreographer, but the man who inspired him to take up dancing in the first place.

With two divorces and a string of failed relationships behind him, David has no intention of promising ‘forever’ to anyone. But when he meets Mason, he falls hard and fast for the enigmatic young dancer. As David becomes more serious about Mason, he wants to open his lover’s eyes to the kinks that he enjoys.

Whilst the two men are navigating the early stages of their romance, Mason is facing immense pressures in the rehearsal studios that threaten to dampen his natural enthusiasm for life. Will David’s love and support be enough to help Mason continue to hold his head high and dance like he’s never danced before?

**Contains explicit language and sex scenes, including mild, consensual BDSM**

4.5 Stars!

I loved Mason from the start. He's sweet and hardworking, perhaps a little naive in thinking he could handle Kirk's bullying on his own, but still willing to stand up for himself and not depend on David or anyone else. It took me a bit longer to warm up to David, he was nice and treated Mason right, but he was very set in his ways. Despite the age gap, they fit very well together, especially since Mason was willing to bend a little and experiment and at least in that sense, David was very patient with him and willing to wait until Mason was ready to move forward. Even if I felt the progression as they included some BDSM elements to their relationship was a bit forced at times, the sex scenes were very hot and passionate.

Neil McFarlane has a very pleasant voice and his British accent is swoon-worthy, even if his tone was monotonous at times and the different voices aren't always easily distinguishable. Still, I felt like he managed to bring a lot of emotion into the narration and I found myself tearing up at one point.

Overall, this was a pretty good, sexy, enjoyable audiobook with some light angst thrown in for good measure and after reading the e-book and listening to the audio, I recommend if at all possible, to pick the audio or better yet, just get them both. LOL
