Release Blitz: Viper (Fallen Angel Series #2) by Brooke Blaine & Ella Frank (Review)

VIPER
Book Two of the Fallen Angel Series
An MM Rock Romance

BROOKE BLAINE  ELLA FRANK

USA TODAY bestselling authors Brooke Blaine and Ella Frank continue the story of sexy Fallen Angel rockers Viper and Halo in VIPER.

Scorching chemistry. Red-hot lyrics. An irresistible bad boy.
Halo, the new lead singer for Fallen Angel, never stood a chance against Viper, the legendary lead guitarist for the band.

From the moment Halo set foot in Viper’s lair, the match was lit, threatening to consume the two men with the heat of their desire. But when their casual flings begins to morph into more, will it leave the entire band in flames?

After all, it may have been Halo who fell from grace, but it’s only a matter of time before Viper falls for an angel.

VIPER is the second book of the Fallen Angel Series and should be read following HALO. Halo and Viper’s story concludes in book three, ANGEL.

4.25 Stars!

Viper is book 2 in the Fallen Angel series and it needs to be read in order. Also, I've gotta say I'm so happy we're getting these books in quick succession since waiting is so not my forte.

Halo and Viper are in Miami with the rest of the band living in a bubble while working on Fallen Angel's debut album, but what will happen when they are back in RL and they both have to deal with the growing feelings surging between them?

I think Halo was my favorite in this installment. He was more open to what was happening between him and Viper, even when it's all new to him, whereas Viper is fighting it tooth and nails. It's not that I don't get where Viper is coming from, all things considered, it's understandable, but that didn't mean I was any less frustrated by his inability to see Halo is not like any other person he'd ever met.

I really liked Imogen, Halo's sister and Viper's mom. And of course, I adore Killian, Jagger and Slade, who always makes me laugh.

While I loved book 1 better, that doesn't mean that Viper wasn't an enjoyable read. It was hot and entertaining and I loved seeing Viper and Halo falling for each other, even when Viper was oblivious to it (or tried to be), and I can't wait to see what will happen in the aftermath of that last scene because WHOA!
