Length: 12,000 words approx.

Blurb

Christmas Eve night with a sexy new friend turns into the perfect Christmas. But Austin never expects his dream holiday to ruin his life.

Hoping to avoid another yearly gathering of the worst people Austin knows—his family—he volunteers to play Santa’s little helper at the department store where he works. That’s where the sexiest Santa on the planet comes to his rescue.

Will plays Santa every year at his grandfather’s department store. It’s something he oddly enjoys. This year is twice the fun when he’s paired with a mouthwatering elf. When Will finds Austin stranded in the parking lot, he’s more than willing to help. A ride turns into an amazing night together. The night turns into a weekend that changes both their lives forever. Not necessarily for the good.

It’ll take more than a good time in bed to fix Austin’s life. For the first time, Will might have to put someone else first.

This is a short and steamy story, featuring a character from Charity Parkerson’s Low Blow series. It was written to be a complete standalone, separate from the series.

4.25 Stars!

Funny thing, when I requested this book and perhaps because I've been reading/listening to so many Omegaverse books lately, I came into it thinking it would be an Alpha/Omega book. It wasn't, though, Will is just an Alpha kind of man, and Austin is a regular guy, and while it wasn't what I expected, I wasn't disappointed in the least.

Austin was lovely, despite his father being horrible to him. He was shy and kind of naive and used to things not going his way. *cuddles Austin* Will is like the title says, an Alpha and I wasn't too sure I was going to like him at first, but he grew on me, the little tidbit of info there at the end with Austin's car threw me off a little, though, but all's well that ends well, right? And he did the right thing with Austin once he found out what had happened to him, so there's that, too. They had great chemistry and the sex scenes were hot.

This was a fun, sexy, enjoyable read with a bit of angst to make it all the sweeter. I wouldn't have minded it being longer or seeing more of Austin's friend, who I loved. Anyway, An Alpha for Christmas was a lovely addition to my holiday reads. One that I will read again sometime soon.
