I know how often autocorrect screws me over, and not in a good way, so I was excited when I read the blurb for this book. It's a cute, and as far as I can tell, an original idea for a story and I couldn't wait to dive in. The story was just okay. It's a shorter story, but definitely long enough that I thought it could have been more fleshed out. I would have liked to see more of a getting to know you phase. The story had too many individual scenes and not enough featuring Clay and Darrell interacting together.
I liked Darrell, but Clay, well he rubbed me the wrong way. He was too concerned about topping, in my opinion, and he also made the stupidest assumption—that led to a misunderstanding before the relationship even started—that I've ever read in a story! I wanted to slap Clay in the face. What a twat!! This was a mostly light read with a little steam and humor, as well. All in all, it was enjoyable and recommendable.
