Blurb:

Peter Kim has been in love with his five best friends since junior high. Now attending college, they share a house, but none of them know how Pete really feels.
Until the five of them come home early to find Pete masturbating while watching a video of them all on vacation near a river last summer.
Devastated and embarrassed, Pete is sure they’ll kick him out come morning. Accepting him as the only gay one among them is one thing, but knowing he lusts after them? All of them? They couldn’t possibly accept that.
But when Pete wakes up the next morning, he’s shocked to discover his housemates have a proposition for him. He’ll choose one of them each day, and they promise to do whatever he wants—including sex—for a full twelve hours.
And, yeah, they’re serious.

Excerpt:
I watched them pile into the behemoth Devon’s mom had loaned for tonight’s trip up to Cleveland. They all looked good in their club clothes. Nothing flashy or too tight, but I’d spread some fashion sense around and they’d believed me every time. Not a single girl would be able to resist my boys.
Of course, there would be plenty of boys who’d be unable to resist them either.
Just like me.
I waved as they drove off, equal parts relieved and lonely. I didn’t want to let them go without me, but I had been wound way too tight lately. I had on one other piece of clothing—the tightest pair of briefs I owned—just to help mask the boner I kept springing every time I’d been near them for the past three days.
Something had to give, and it was going to happen in a gush of orgasmic heat all over my fist.

Author Interview:

Today, I’m very lucky to be interviewing Missy Welsh author of, Take Your Pick.
Hi, Missy. Thank you for agreeing to this interview. Tell us a little about yourself, your background, and your current book.
Hi! Thank you so much for having me on the blog today.
I've been writing M/M since 2009, when I first discovered ebooks and – gasp! – accidentally stumbled upon erotic romances. It was a very short trip to finding M/M stories and gobbling them up. I've always been attracted to character-driven stories with declarations of love and happy endings – especially when I'm writing. Take Your Pick was, originally, meant to be a short story experiment for myself that probably wouldn't see the light of day, to be honest. I wanted to see if I could write something very erotic, like a series of encounters, without declarations or even a “happy-for-now” ending. Just sex, really. But my main character, Peter Kim, had other ideas almost from the start. Though he does have wildly fulfilling sexual encounters with each of his five best friends and housemates, I found myself unable to keep the emotional attachments at bay. It's a story chock full of sexual fantasies made real, but it's still under the romance umbrella.
1) Wow, with his five best friends, huh? What inspired this story?
A photograph I found online. I managed to get my cover artist, Thorny Sterling, to create a loose version of the photo for the bottom half of the cover. In it, five delectable young men stand side-by-side in shorts or underwear that are torn. They're all flexing and smiling and soaking wet. I couldn't let that go without attempting to answer the questions of who they were, why they were dressed like that (and wet!), and who they were all smiling at.
2) I'm not sure I could keep all these men straight in my head! What challenges did you face writing about so many men?
Well, first was figuring out who each of them was. Not just their names and which were the blonds, brunets, etc., but their personalities and how they would treat Peter Kim. I didn't want any of them to be interchangeable. What helped with that, too, was figuring out how Peter felt about each of them individually, why he loved each one.
3) What are your favorite qualities about each of these main characters?
Peter: sweet and sensitive, he needs to love and be loved.
Mario: considerate and cuddly, he wants others to be happy.
Nate: outgoing and spontaneous, he provides adventure without sacrificing safety.
Ross: protective and dominant, he needs to take care of others.
Tony: passionate and sensual, he devotes himself to those he loves.
Devon: deep and giving, he would do anything for his friends.
4) When did you first know you wanted to be a writer?
In fourth grade, I got bitten by the reader bug good and hard. I devoured books! In seventh grade, I tried my hand at writing a story about a kidnapped teen who fell in love with one of the bad guys who almost died trying to save her. It was all very angsty and tragic, of course. And that was when I learned how to take criticism because I showed it to my English teacher that year, and he had several (hundred) suggestions. I've been scribbling away ever since.
5) Can you share the project(s) you are currently working on?
Well, soon I'll have the re-release of an expanded version of my first book, My Summer of Wes. The book is written, but I want to make it as good as I possibly can, so it's on hold until I can afford the editor I really want to work with as well as the cover and layout the book deserves to look gorgeous. While I save up for all of that, I'm working on a sci-fi romance and my first romantic suspense. Both have me really excited to write every day. Take Your Pick is a first, little step back into the publishing arena, a new story I'm hoping will reignite some reader interest in my work. I thank you very much for helping me along this path!

Meet Missy Welsh:
Missy Welsh stares into space a lot, has conversations with cats, takes notes while people-watching, records conversations (not the ones with cats), named her laptop Norbert and her phone Pushkin, has backups of her backupsbackups, faints at the sight of a misused semi-colon, and will often ask socially unacceptable questions of strangers.
Basically, she’s a writer.
