Description:
Kaden Thorn, a dental surgeon who lives a quiet life, has no hope of finding the love he craves. A vicious gay bashing cost him the use of his legs and confined him to a wheelchair. He has given up hope of finding a Dom or even a nonkink partner to love him. When his best friend practically forces him to attend a dinner party, the last thing he expects is a strong Dom who can see beyond his wheels.

Deacon James is an architect and a demanding Dom, but he has spent the past couple of years without a sub or partner. When an employee invites him to a dinner party to meet his girlfriend, Deacon smells a setup but agrees anyway. He prides himself on being an excellent judge of character, and when he meets the younger dentist, he sees past the chair and finds a sweet submissive man who more than piques his interest.

Kade's fears and demons continue to haunt him, challenging Deacon to use everything he's learned as a Dom to earn Kade’s trust and submission. Deacon's determined, though, willing to battle all of it to have Kade by his side and at his feet.

Mari´s Review:

*** Ebook provided to Bayou Book Junkie in exchange for a fair and honest review. ***

First of all I've got to say that I don't really read BDSM all that much, however, of the few I've read this was the first one where I've gotten a clearer glimpse into the life, seeing as it's all explained in such a way that makes it easier for the reader to understand. Also, I loved that it was not just a D/s story. It's a romance with heavy BDSM tints, but a romance nonetheless.

Kade suffered an attack that left him in a wheelchair. He's certain that not being able to walk will prevent him from ever enjoying being a sub as he was before, until he meets Deacon James.

Deacon is not your usual Dom, and when he meets Kade, he feels drawn to him like he's never been drawn to anyone else. It won't be easy, considering Kade's limitations, but he's patient and resourceful.

I just adored the storyline and how much Deacon helped Kade to heal, by loving and cherishing him, by showing him he was just what Deacon needed, too. They were hot together and with Sam and Jake and I loved how it all played out. All in all, the book is practically flawless, it was great seeing Deacon and Kade fall in love and discover how much stronger they were together than they were on their own.

Rating: 4.5 Stars!!!
