“I know it’s silly… please don’t laugh at me but, I just imagine you came in and swept me off my feet, picked me right up and set me on the back of your white horse and made me… well… you made me feel complete Ranger.” Landry chuckled. “Ranger… you complete me… I love you.” Ranger lay there quietly listening, probably stunned by Landry’s revelation. “You don’t have to say anything back to me, baby, but I just wanted you to know… I love you.”
Landry quieted, listening to Ranger’s breathing as something suddenly dawned on him. He frowned.
“Ranger?” he whispered. “Baby?” Landry let go of the gorgeous hair he loved so dearly and reached around, pushing gently at Ranger’s shoulders. Ranger breathed deeply, his chest rising and falling. “Ranger…” Landry said a little louder. He frowned and pushed at Ranger as he felt his flaccid cock slide out of his ass. “Ranger!” Landry squirmed out from under him as he finally pushed hard on Ranger’s pecs.
Ranger groaned and rolled to his back and Landry rolled with him, propping himself up on one elbow as he looked down into Ranger’s relaxed face. His long black eyelashes lay against his cheeks. When his mouth fell open, he let out a loud snore. “Khhaaaaa!”
“Are you fucking kidding me?” Landry asked. “Are you ASLEEP?”

Why
did you choose to write M/M stories?
Because
they seemed to hit a cord deep inside me from the first time I picked up a
MMF menage story. The dynamic between the two guys was so hot that I couldn’t
care less to read about what they did with the girl in the story. I just
wanted more and more of the guys together. That was my introduction to MM and
once I discovered it, I never went back to any other reading. When I began to
write, I naturally gravitated to my favourite genre which was this one.

What is for you the
perfect book hero?
A man who is strong and kind. That can be physically
strong with a strong emotional/mental component, or it can be a physically
average or weaker guy who is determined and strong in other ways. I love
nerdy types like my character Landry in “The Thief”. He’s not a huge ripped
specimen of a man but he is brilliant, beautiful, and he has a great heart.
He’s also got an inner strength of character which Ranger, my physically
strong Marine finds so attractive. He has to have decent morals, an
incredibly strong sense of the difference between good and evil and he has to
be kind to people who are flawed. If he starts out as a jerk, (and I’ve
written those characters several times), then he’d better end up good and
decent by the end of the story.

Is there anything you find particularly
challenging in your writing?
These days it’s writing love scenes.
They get very old for me so I really have to be on my game to get in the
zone. Usually some meditation music will send me where I need to go but I
really want to make everything real and honest and I want my readers to fall
in love with my lovemaking scenes. Hopefully, I can do that for years to
come. I know I just have to work at them a little more than I used to.

Who is your favorite author and what is
it that really strikes you about their work?
Kathleen E. Woodiwiss. She passed away
in 2007 and her talent was a great loss to the world. She only published 13
long novels (MF) but her books are incredible works of romantic art. She
could paint masterpieces with her words and bring the page alive in my mind.
That’s something you don’t find everywhere. I miss her books so much. They
started me on my journey of romance fiction way back in the early 70’s but
her books are as good today as they were then. When a book can stand the test
of time, you know an author is the best.

Tell
us a little bit about yourself.
I’m
not terribly interesting. Haha. I’ve been a published author for the last 5
years. Prior to that, I was a mortgage broker for almost 20 years, an AIDS
hospice nurse in the early nineties, and a jeweler before that. Writing is my
4th and last best career. I have 4 almost grown children and I’ve
been married 29 years. It’s an average life in a small town in Southern
California. If it weren’t for the high cost of living here, it would probably
be the greatest place on earth to live. I cook, I read, I garden, and I love
going to my youngest daughter’s soccer games. Her friends keep me young and
they remind me how much our world has changed since I was a kid. We are a lot
more tolerant society and that is a really great change.
